A hotel with excellent facilities and easy access to the metro and shopping center. I think the highlight of this hotel's breakfast is the variety of croissants with different flavors, which are very special in their own way. I recommend Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk for accommodation.

Another fantastic stay at one of the best Sofitel hotels! A combination of visiting family and a holiday, this hotel was the perfect base. Stylish, luxurious and very friendly… we have spent the last eleven days there and have not one complaint. Everyone was wonderful at looking after us from Reception, Housekeeping and the pool staff but a special welcome has to go to the Millésime Lounge and the wonderful staff. We couldn’t recommend it more… thank you The Obelisk.

Context: i just started week 2 of our dubai vacation (with my wife).For the Week 1 we stayed at Raffles Palm and we just checked in to sofitel obelisk today. I'm an Accor member too. Raffles palm stay was a complete dream 10/5... Everything was amazing Tldr for Obelisk : Stay Away. Don't come here. feel sad that I trusted the Google reviews. you're better of staying at an Airbnb or any other hotel. If you expect this to be a 5 star and you're expecting hospitality you'll be thoroughly disappointed. based on my experience I'll tell you to book the raffles next door. It has hardly been 10 hours since my check-in and I am already regretting it and missing our experience at Raffles Palm so much. I'm surprised and puzzled why Sofitel Obelisk has a 4.9 in Google. Honestly it is not even worth 2 stars. An Airbnb without any service is better than the level of disrespect and apathy from staff at this "5 star hotel". If you consider this a glorified Airbnb you will feel less let down when you experience their lack of hospitality and service. You'll feel cheated for what you paid but hopefully this reviews saves you from making the blunder I've made. I would strongly urge you to consider another property based on my experience elaborated below. Based on my experience with raffles palm, I would say take a bet on raffles downtown. I don't know if the other ratings are fake or a hoax but I certainly haven't seen such a bad 5 star hotel anywhere in the world and I have been to all continents. Disrespectful, inhospitable staff who don't care if you like the stay or not, rooms are strictly okay. food I'll let you know in an update. The only upside is the nice location. Below are the details of my experience thus far and I will update it if anything changes (hopefully for the better for my sake) Service - 1/5 Instance 1-  We reached the hotel at 2:35pm and though, they didn't extend anything to me - Had to wait till 4 pm for checkin, no welcome drink, no upgrade. Nothing. On top of that the receptionist kept insisting that check in starts from 3pm and trying to show as if she is doing us a favor. That I think is the exact experience you'll have throughout your stay at obelisk. You've paid now stay in the room and don't expect anything from service or any hospitality. I would be better of in an Airbnb. They didn't even bother to tell us about the property or Accor benefits or wifi or anything. Again Airbnb hosts do a better job than this The rep who checked us in late gave us fake gyan/air that they have given us the best possible room, as soon as I asked her the room type she has given us, she told me it is the same class I've booked! Instance 2- At night I wanted to try a pizza place I had heard great reviews about and I placed a delivery order. They didn't allow the delivery person to come in and didn't even bother to call me. When I asked the security at the gate, he said he is not obligated to call the guests for collection they should coordinate with delivery boy. Like lol is this an Airbnb or a 5*. (BTW @Raffles palm they didn't just call me to collect, they even collected the delivery and then came to my room to deliver). On top of that the security person was so rude and confronted me telling me to "go and complain to whoever I want and started showing me towards reception to go and complain". Again, this just shows his confidence because I'm sure he daily misbehaves with guests and the management just flows with it because according to them "you're getting a room that you've paid for. So be happy we are letting you stay" Instance 3- Nobody even cares to answer when you call "Sofitel at your service". Again if you consider this a glorified Airbnb you will not feel let down. Room - 3/5 - One word to describe it is Okay For a city property it's okay but definitely 2 levels below the room I just stayed at Raffles Palm. I don't find anything 5 star in the room. Nothing at all. It is all strictly okay. However if you start benchmarking it to other 5 stars,it is definitely not okay and below par

It was a very good experience in obelisk. I am staying in sofitel since 2023 in room number 910 everything is perfect here room is very clean and well maintained service is excellent specially at soleil Ravi Pawar is always take care me.. He is very professional and helpful i am very happy in living in sofitel. I will recommend sofitel obeliks is the best hotel in Dubai. Thank you very much Ravi once again…..
