Air conditioning so hot in 24/13 felt like we were in the tropics. Absolutely terrible experience given the ridiculous heat in the room. Staff noted an issue issue with the cooling but were less than helpful. Would have been better sleeping in the car parked below the hotel. Never staying here sfainy

Good value overall, but service and recognition fell short I made a last-minute booking with my children. Parking is next door at DFO, which cost $50. It’s a busy public car park for the shopping centre, so a bit tricky to manage if you’ve got young kids or a lot of luggage. Check-in was smooth enough, but the reception staff member was fairly indifferent – professional but not especially welcoming. About an hour later, she called my room to say she’d forgotten to deduct my Accor points, meaning I was overcharged and would need to go back to reception in the morning to sort a refund that would take several days to reach my card. Not ideal when travelling alone with children. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with basic amenities that were fine for the price. We slept quite well, though the air conditioning seemed to switch itself off automatically during the night. No welcome gift, upgrade, or acknowledgement of my Accor Platinum status, which was disappointing. Breakfast was decent. What really made it better was the lovely, helpful staff, one of the team went out of her way to bring me some avocado and olive oil as a vegan option as the choice otherwise was dry toast, or some salad or fruit. Limited choices otherwise, but their attitude was excellent and really lifted the experience. Overall, the stay was pretty good value, clean and comfortable, but some aspects of service and the lack of recognition for loyalty status let it down. I was intending to rebook tonight but still trying to decide.

Great location if you are attending a conference, literally next door. Standard corporate fare, great views from the higher floors. Breakfasts were pretty good, coffee service a nice touch. George the concierge certainly adds value

The Novotel is very well located if you are attending an event at the MCC. In fact, it is possible to enter the convention center without leaving the hotel lobby and this is very convenient. Rooms are comfortable and roomy! What made our stay even better is the service we experienced with concierge, George. Rarely does one meet such a person with character, a sense of serving and utmost pride in dealing with customers. George belongs at a 5 star hotel with this work ethic and we will not forget how we were treated! Well done, George!

Tres bon séjour. Hotel moderne, propre, proche du centre ville et pratique pour les congrés. Par contre pas de bar, ni de mini bar dans les chambre, ni de machine à nourriture. Donc après 21h impossible de manger ou boire quelque chose.
