Dear Team, I am writing to share feedback on my recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly below what I have come to expect from Novotel standards. I had booked a MAP plan, which included dinner. However, the dining arrangement was particularly disappointing. Dinner was served in a poorly lit basement hall located next to the washroom entrance on one side and a waste-storage area on the other. The setting felt unsuitable for a hotel dining experience. Guests were also asked to share large round tables with strangers, which made the experience uncomfortable and lacked the privacy normally expected at a property of this standard. Regrettably, the food quality did not compensate for the inadequate ambience and seating arrangement. The overall dinner experience felt poorly planned and did not reflect the positioning or service standards associated with the Novotel brand. The experience was disappointing enough that I chose to check out after just one day, despite having originally planned a three-day stay. Wrote the above mail... got no response !!!!

We regret that your concerns were not acknowledged sooner, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your valuable feedback. We are deeply sorry to learn that your stay did not meet your expectations and fell short of the standards you associate with Novotel. It is particularly disappointing to know that your dining experience, despite being included in your MAP package, left you feeling dissatisfied. After carefully reviewing the situation, we identified the root cause of the issue. Due to an unexpected technical error on our booking platform, our restaurant was inadvertently overbooked. As a result, we had to temporarily relocate dinner service for our in-house guests to the Celebration Hall in the Upper Basement. We fully understand that this alternative arrangement did not provide the ambience, comfort, and privacy that you rightfully expected. We sincerely regret that the location, seating arrangement, and overall dining atmosphere negatively impacted your experience. While this was an unforeseen operational challenge, we acknowledge that it does not diminish the disappointment you experienced, and for that, we offer our heartfelt apologies. We are equally concerned to learn that this experience led you to shorten your stay and check out earlier than planned. This is certainly not the impression we strive to create for our valued guests. Please be assured that we have reviewed the incident internally and have implemented additional measures to prevent such situations from recurring. Your feedback has been shared with our management team as it serves as an important opportunity to improve our guest experience. We truly value your patronage and hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to restore your confidence in Novotel.
