Stayed at Fairmont Chengdu four times. Excellent services, well located, welcoming staffs. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and definitely my No.1 pick in Chengdu. A bit disappointed of being upgraded to the room I used to stay. Swimming is packed and no one bother to manage the kids who "play in the pool" and adult who really "practice swimming", despite there is a line there try to differentiate. A guy in the pool/gym area showed really reluctant to talk and help.

Actually this is the best experience I’ve ever had in mainland China, the hotel is brand new and well-decorated. My room was upgraded and it had a great view. Food is tasty, wine is good, and the best part is the Faimont Gold Lounge. Thanks Jess, Sanders and Evelyn for their hospitality and kind help, I’m looking forward to next stay at Fairmont Chengdu.

Checked in very smoothly, front desk staff was quite professional in introducing hotel features to me. Room was clean and somewhat spacious because of its interior layout. Breakfast experience was ok with limited options. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Last week was my birthday, and it was very unique experience. I received many surprises from the hotel. Signature suite is super good. And services was excellent as well. My old friends Rita, Sandra, Evelyn and Rebecca provides a wonderful services for us. They also prepare a small party in my room with Lawrence and many colleagues, shared a cake together, very touched my heart. I also very enjoyed my birthday dinner at Spectrum, Eason provided a special menu for me and luckily we were the only guests in that night, so it was truly VIP service. Many thanks to Eason, Derek, Zoey and Carol. I write this comment at 13th,July. The air-conditioner has some technical issues, so very hot. A little bit angry because it is SUMMER!!!!!

This property is located 15 min walk from the nearest metro station (Shiji Cheng). It is a relatively new property as you can see from inside. The staff was pretty, ugh, friendly and yet lacks some professionalism. One of the housekeeping staff barged in my room without first knocking on the door. This is a first time for me. Other than this, it was a OK stay, not my best Fairmont experience.

It is difficult to describe my experience for me, because this hotel is my second home in Chengdu. Although some of my old friends was already left here, but service is still wonderful. Cloud Qiu was one of my old friend, very easy to talk to. Rita is a new friend of mine, new leader for Fairmont Gold team, very professional and friendly. when i stay here again, everything felt so natural. I also have some dishes in Changyi. Service was excellent, well, nearly no other guests. I think when the DimSum Buffet start, service will be a little bad. Food was good, much better than last time. Chef Li and Jeff looks after me well. Once again, write review is a very difficult case for me. I just can say, my home is excellent and my friends are excellent. Only one problem, wifi was a little bit slow.
