We went to the Chengdu Fairmont hotel for a staycation of one day/one night, and we appreciated our stay very much. The suite we booked was very spacious and we appreciated sitting in it and enjoy a cup of tea/glass of wine. We appreciated the bottle of wine & fruits served upon arrival, as a welcome (member?) gift. And the floor staff were very friendly, despite not speaking English. The hotel does need a few improvement on details, though: fitness studio wasn't functional, some decoration on the swimming pool wall fell and weren't replaced and the lighting buttons/controllers on the room aren't very intuitive, sometimes. Overall a very pleasant stay, close to many restaurants in a very modern district of Chengdu. For those looking at a spacious room, close to the airport, the Fairmont is the right choice.

After six years, I had the pleasure of staying at the Fairmont Chengdu again, and it remains an absolutely fantastic hotel—truly in the Champions League of hospitality! The property is modern and tastefully designed, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The service was impeccable—professional, warm, and attentive. A special shout-out to Adam, who went above and beyond to assist me. Thank you for your outstanding help and for arranging such a wonderful room—it made my stay even more memorable!
