The most incredible service from Vikram who is a doorman at this wonderful hotel, who went above and beyond when I left my mobile phone in a taxi. He managed to locate the driver who came back to the hotel with my phone. Fantastic service Vikram. Thanks so much. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner and gin slings in The Long Bar.

Raffles Hotel Singapore: The Most Exceptional and Impeccable Hospitality and Staff

I do not usually do reviews or social media so I will not upload any photos, but my stay at the Raffles Hotel this time was too memorable and touching for me not to create a TripAdvisor account and leave a written review to congratulate and thank the amazing staff at the Raffles Hotel Singapore for living up to the highest standard of hospitality. My family has been staying at the Raffles Hotel every time we visit Singapore, including with my grandmother since the 1990’s. It had been over ten years since I have been back to Singapore and every time has always been a wonderful stay. The hotel’s architecture and interior design is something else to mention with its historic presence to its beautifully grand scale of magnificence. This time was the most touching and memorable by far from the service and kindness I received from all of the staff. The impeccable hospitality at Raffles is world renowned, and I am so blessed and grateful to have been in the presence and service of the current staff. From the first night that I was wandering around the lobby taking pictures of the beautiful Christmas tree, Allen (Bell staff) walked alongside me and offered to take picture of me in the lobby, Palm court, and front of the hotel. Whenever I left the hotel, Allen always made sure I had a bottle of water, and knowing how I enjoy Singaporean food always provided helpful tips on local food options. Allen was always happy to provide any and all help, and with Allen and Harpreet (“Happy”; Bell staff) always happily greeting me whenever I left and came back to the hotel, I felt so welcome and warm, like I was returning home. I got a lot of help over my stay from the Concierge staff, including from Diana, Mazelin, Jannah, and Mel. The Concierge staff was always happy to provide all of my inquiries with patience and a helpful heart. The most touching part of my trip was when I was looking to purchase bamboo leaves for a recipe that my grandmother used to make me when I was young. I first went to the local market that Diana had recommended but could not find the leaves. Diana told me that she would try to find the leaves for me, and then the next day she informed me that she herself and a colleague would go to a market and find out if they could purchase them for me as these leaves in Singapore are usually used only during dumpling season. I am so thankful to say Diana and her colleague successfully found the leaves and sent them to my room. Diana went out of her way to go and look for and purchase these leaves on her own time. Thank you for your hospitality Diana, and because of your kind help my family and I will be able to create happy memories while reminiscing about my grandmother’s cooking. Lizzy was a Korean Tiffin Room staff member that helped me and I was so glad to see a fellow Korean represent hospitality at its finest at one of the world’s best hotels. I was touched when Lizzy paid for my mother and I’s coffees so that we could enjoy it in the Palm Court while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The butler service which was available 24 hours was amazing, with the staff accommodating all of my needs at any time. From the first evening that I arrived, Shannon (Butler) was so friendly, providing my mother and me with welcome chocolates that we got to choose from a selection, in addition to the fruit and tea setup on the table. Every night there was a different welcome gift, from traditional Singaporean rice cakes, to a bottle of refreshing energy-boosting fruit drink. On a different night, when we got the Singapore Sling (welcome cocktail) delivered to our room, Shannon was so informative as to the history of the cocktail and was happy to answer any questions. When I visited the Long Bar with my mother the night before I was leaving, and found out that they sell the Raffles Gin in the gift store and wanted one, Pinky (Butler) sent somebody to purchase the gin for me first thing in the morning and had it delivered to my room while I was packing. *Tip: If you are staying at the Raffles, you can ask your butler to reserve a table for you at the Long Bar. I didn’t know and waited in line with my mother for over 20 minutes in the queue :) The Raffles Spa experience was so relaxing and pleasant. Matthew (Spa staff) was so kind in explaining all of the treatments and Miko (Spa Therapist) and Yeni (Spa Therapist) provided my mother and me with an amazing 90 minute Raffles Signature Gem Stone Massage. The stones were just hot enough, and when they were used to massage us, I could feel my body relaxing into a calm and peaceful state. After our massages, Jho and Lala happily helped us pick out some face mists even though it was 20 minutes past the closing time. The Raffles Historic Tour, offered on premise, done by Nazir (Raffles Tour Guide) was also so informative and the touring of the Sir Stamford Raffles Presidential Suite on the third floor was so fun. All of the facts and tidbits of information about the Raffles Hotel that I got to know, made me really appreciate the history and grandness of the Raffles Hotel and Singapore even more. I cannot mention all of the beautiful, kind and welcoming service moments I encountered at the Raffles Hotel this time as there are too many. Even just walking around and encountering all of the staff who were upkeeping the premises, I was always warmly greeted with a genuine smile and greeting. I hope this shout out to those that provided their hospitality to my family and me will show my appreciation and thanks for gifting me with a trip with exceptional service that I will remember happily for the rest of my life. A must when you visit the city

The Log Bar is a must to visit, Original Classical venue to have the international Singapore Sling, where you enjoy a first-class service and you get a basket full of Peanuts, tradition is; you should eat them and throw the shell at floor. Old décor and well kept. The hotel is a masing, with all the side entrances to rooms, large patios with some venues and well-kept gardens, A must!

This was a great hotel to stay in. The staff are wonderful. In particular, Mr. Nazir Yusof, the hotel historian, gave us a really great tour which was both informative and entertaining. It is also important to mention that the staff people who took care of our room did an amazing job. They are first rate professionals and their attention to detail is impressive.
