Beautiful stay at royal monceau

TripAdvisor rating 5.0/5

esaada Families - TripAdvisor review

We had a beautiful stay at the royal Monceau in Paris. Xavier Hachin greeted us personally. Melonie at the front desk greeted us as well. They gave all 3 rooms a beautiful upgrade . All rooms are beautifully decorated and very modern. The breakfast is wonderful. Soltane the assistant of la cuisine was always ready with our french press coffee and beautiful fresh mango. The concierge team is also wonderful Dasuki Amouri and Elise. They are on top of all the newest and coolest restaurants and they will arrange any day trips. My room was spotless. The bathrooms sheets and towels were always plentiful. My welcome amenities which was a beautiful fruit basket was filled with delicious fruits and also lovely pastries. Marie was there to replenish the water and anything i needed. We can’t wait to return!

We lived our stay and the upgrade made all the difference. Thank you. We were behind in our planning and booking dinner and other activities due to work schedules while back in the US so the concierge was fantastic to get us into a couple spots that made our son’s first trip to France a memorable one. We really look forward to returning and seeing everyone again soon! Thank you! From the B. Family!!

Art deco stylish palace hotel

This hotel was a very interesting hotel. Very different from all the other raffles that I've been to. I've had the pleasure of staying at the original raffles in Singapore, as well as the raffles in Istanbul and recently at the KSA Raffles. This one was very different. More in tune with a Parisian style I suppose. Location of the hotel is close to Arc de Triumph and the Champs. Very central. We booked these rooms via a virtuoso agent. We were able to get room upgrades for both rooms. We had a suite connected to a room. This was enough room for 5 people. (4 adults and a 16 yo) There was plenty of room. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were huge. This is where the style got in the way. By that i mean the decor of the hotel. Extreme art deco. The room was way too cluttered with furniture. With a rollaway it becomes difficult to walk even with having so much room .. the bath rooms were very pretty but not very functional. They sacrificed functionality for style. Other than that I have no complaints. The rooms are immaculate and well maintained. Housekeeping was very efficient and thorough. The concierge staff was very helpful. We got several excellent restaurant recommendations through them. Ive had previous experiences with other concierges where I've gotten mid recommendations. These were all fire. The concierge was located in a little gift shop where they sell some great perfumes. The breakfast was excellent. Great spread. What I really appreciated was that they allow you to order room service for breakfast until noon. And both breakfasts are included in the virtuoso rates. This is not the case at other hotels like the mandarin Oriental where u have to eat in the restaurant. When we are on vacation and jet lagged we don't always like to wake up with an alarm so we can rush down stairs so we don't miss the breakfast deadline. The front desk was efficient.. it's been my experience at other virtuoso hotels that sometimes, they don't remember to not charge u for breakfast or they don't add the food and beverage credit. At this hotel, I had no complaints. Overall a great experience.

Initially we were given a room on the 7th floor that was in an horrendous state, damaged interiors, dirty, small. We report it to the staff and after some time we have been given an amazing room in the 2nd floor. These 2 rooms fall into the same category (Gallery King Suite), comparing the 2 rooms is impossible to pay the same rate, doesn't make any sense. Never the less the Suite on the 2nd floor was one of the best we ever stayed. Service was extremely expensive, like almost €900 to have clothing pressed 3 times, we stayed at Four Seasons and other luxury establishments, never so expensive. Overall the service not up to scratch for the type of establishment or the night rate we paid. - Missing bathrobes - No bin in room, only bathroom - Asked a camomille and be given another tea - Broken hangers - Free water for the night in a carton packaging (cheap) In conclusion the Gallery King Suite on 2nd floor is an amazing room, grand and romantic for a couple, bed is exceptional in size and comfort, bed linen are best in class. I'd say the service standards of Four Seasons George V and Dorchester Plaza Athenee is at different level.
