Were there celebrating sister's bday and He Li Zhu from housekeeping made my sister's day brighter by decorating the room for the occasion. Really appreciate the effort.

I’ve stayed in Swissotel the Stamford Singapore several times in the past. The previous Swissotel service is remarkable and all of their staffs were really great and helpful. Also, within the year, I stayed at several Accor Hotels like Fairmont, Pullman Hill Street, Pullman Orchard, and Mercure Bugis. All of them had great service. BUT, the Swissotel right now all of the previous staffs are gone and the NEW ONES are really really RUDE. The service right now doesn’t deserve the 5-star hotel recognitions they have. Even though the rooms in Swissotel have excellent views for Marina Bay, I highly advise to stay away from this hotel. High probability, on the Check-In you will be met with rude staffs who doesn’t respect their customers no matter what kind of Accor membership tier you have. I don’t even know how did the hotel management hire this new staffs and passed their standards. Really disappointed with the new management of this hotel. Most likely, this will be my last time staying in Swissotel, and might not go to other Accor hotels in this case.

Overall, my stay was comfortable and pleasant

I always love to stay in Swissotel The Stamford, firstly met “Uncle” in concierge with his best smile and hospitality. I feel like home when i saw him in front of the lobby. He’s not aging at all. He always remember me and my husband. This is the best hospitality employee of the Swissotel the stamford. Then when we got the room, the room had a great view but the there’s problem with the tv, we called the technician, but he couldn’t fix it, then he said he would tell his supervisor and fix the tv when we went out of the room. Sadly when we came back, tv worse than before so we called any technician, and thanks God the technician (the tall one) could fix it. For the room, all clean. We satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. Thanks to Eric, Ennie and Ei Ei from the housekeeping department.

Disastrous management, poor control, sold to the masses and as a result standards & quality has suffered.

We stayed as Diamond Accor members in a Marina Bay view room. Only upgraded to a higher level, not to a better category room. The following comments are about the Lounge service which was appalling. We arrived 10 minutes after the start (5.30 pm) on Xmas Eve, no tables & very little hot food left. In fact the salmon teriyaki dish was only replaced 40 minutes later. Hardly any wait staff to clear tables and the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. We waited 40 minutes for food to be replenished & for people to leave. Xmas morning, only 1 egg chef, no other egg options and a long queue. He took his time ‘crafting’ a fried egg or an omelette while 10 people queued. One man & one frying pan - really!! I complained to the front desk but nothing changed. Xmas evening the lounge was heaving, we arrived at 5.30pm & same as night before so we took our time & ate after the hordes had finished. Dec 26, more of the same, but interestingly there were 3 managers in grey suits present. Presumably people had complained, but still no one directing staff or looking to see what food, glasses, drinks needed replenishing. Dec 27, still no improvement at egg station. I spoke to a lady who took my order & started to organise the egg chef - I asked why he could not cook on the other electric ring & was told it was not working. I asked staff to replenish fruit. One young waitress (presumably a student) brought replacement glasses to the fruit juice station but didn’t notice all the juice containers were empty as were the cereal containers. The F&B manager & executive head chef should have been on top of the situation. Clearly lounge access rooms were oversold. Tonight, Dec 27, fewer guests & more staff. 2 hot food dishes both containing chicken, 1 other was left over sausages from breakfast & cold mushroom salad also from breakfast left overs. We paid over £250 per night. Management need to see how Shangri La KL organise their Xmas in Horizon Lounge. Guests book for either a 6pm or 7 pm sitting. Chefs continually check on the food and management is very much present organising the staff. And it is £100 cheaper. This is not our first visit to the Stamford but is our last. We will return to Hilton Singapore next time

Stay During Christmas Period – Feedback Positive feedback: The staff and concierge were very friendly and welcoming. The booking process was handled very efficiently and completed very quickly, which was greatly appreciated. The view from the Tempe area was fantastic and truly enjoyable. Negative feedback: Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was disappointing. There was only one type of dish offered, served as a very small portion, and there was no proper soft-boiled egg holder. The bread cabinet appeared dirty, and the fruit selection was not fresh or tasty. Additionally, all mini bar items had been removed. There was still a basket labelled “Complimentary Mini Bar,” but it was completely empty, which was confusing. The iron provided in the room was also faulty.
