We had a lovely one night stay, could not fault it. We were in the Charlecote apartment which was very spacious, clean and had up-to-date decor. All of the staff we encountered at the reception, restaurant and on the leisure club reception were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good standard. We used the gym and pool facilities which are well equipped. We would definitely recommend and are likely to return. Thanks.

Stayed in the original hall, beautiful rooms and architecture and very clean. Breakfast was decent, service good, staff friendly. Extra heaters provided in the original building, which were needed, so nice and warm. All fine until 3rd night of our 3 night stay. There was a corporate xmas party going on downstairs, various tunes until midnight ish. Trying to sleep to "Wake me up before you go go" - they certainly did wake us up. Would have been nice to have been warned about this by the Operations Director we personally spoke to earlier that day. Places like this need corporate events to survive, I would have altered my plans for that evening had I been forewarned. Then the next morning (this morning) the water went freezing cold whilst I was washing my hair. I'm writing this review with shampoo in my hair and my wife on the phone to reception saying the maintenance man starts at 8am. That's nice to know, considering it's 730am right now and I'm standing with shampoo in my hair.

Nice place to get away and relax for a couple of days. The price of food, drink and breakfast are a bit too high but i did enjoy my dinner there. I would say that I observed the need for more people working around as they were queus for everything and the waiting time of service was a bit to long for a 4 stars hotel. But overall very satisfied I just think hiring more people on the weekends will make a massive difference on the quality and costumer satisfaction.
