The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and helpful, the dinner was really good . The hotel and spa were a let down . The pool is old , the change rooms and lockers grubby . The hotel room was clean but again the rest of the hotel was grubby, cobwebs and dirt sitting on the extracts in the dining room and all areas need decorating .

We were given a voucher for a one night stay and were given a huge room, we had a lovely swim a wonderful breakfast and a lovely walk in superb grounds. Staff were very nice and helpful!

The grounds around the hotel were stunning.The swimming pool was inviting.The room was satisfactory....Unfortunately the service was abysmal.Waiting twenty minutes to be served at the bar,asking for sandwiches in the afternoon following our arrival and nobody came back to us.being told that they had no pint glasses at 8-00 clock in the evening and when you looked around there were tables full of empty glasses with staff just walking passed them.receiving the mains course at the same time as the starter and then waiting 15 minutes for the desert only for us to give up and cancel it.We will return because we loved the hotel and the surroundings but we will be booking "room only"and we will go to a local pub for refreshments.It really is a shame because its got so much potential.

One night stay on Secret Escapes 'offer'.Cosy room and comfortable bed, together with good evening meal/breakfast.Excellent pool/gym facilities.Only issue was registration-front desk,yet again,had difficulty finding details from S. Escapes.
