I purchased a one night stay here via Groupon, which included breakfast and a bottle of wine. Arrived early and bags were left without any issue for a few hours while we visited the city center. Returned to check in and provided an upgraded room as they had run out of our type of rooms. No questions, no hassle. Bigger room, bed and free soft drinks in mini-bar. Bed was comfortable, but room was hot (air con wasn't working) and sash window wouldn't open, but we had a fan which helped and we didn't spend long in the room (only to sleep) , so it was fine. Mini fridge wasn't working either, but again, we weren't expecting to have one, so it wasn't an issue. Hotel was quiet on the night we stayed (floor 1). Although hotel had placed lots of signs around warning of a late function the next 2 nights, which we felt was very good of them (not many hotels would warn ahead of time as it would encourage the Karens/Darens to come out of the woodworks and complain regardless, but we felt it was a good thing to see). Friendly staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff. Breakfast selection was good. Parking, although was £15 a day, was waived, which was superbly generous. Overall a pleasant stay which we felt welcomed, and we'd definitely stay again.

Carpets were disgustingly stained where I was pleased I had free slippers - this I paid for as upgrade my room- but defo didn’t feel upgraded , walls also needed repainting as skidded and marked a lot. The bathroom was ok though - if the rooms had been to the standard I paid for I would stay again but unfortunately as they are I won’t be coming back. Breakfast was good, staff were pleasant it’s just your rooms that let you down.

We stayed at your hotel on Wednesday night . The experience was negative because of a few things 1. There was high levels of noise in the corridors at night 2. the air conditioning in the room did not work or was very poor 3. the breakfast was very average. 4. the bed was uncomfortable Would be delighted to here your comments It’s a shame as the hotel is very well located in Bristol Hopefully if we come back the experience will be much better and this was a one off blip ?
