Unacceptable levels of noise at all times if the day and night from the room across the corridor, women shouting, children running around screaming, not very conducive for a work stop over. It all came to a head when in one particularly loud period I was going to and on opening the door I was confronted by the fire door across the corridor wedged open and to my horror there were three women squaring around some form of open flame stove cooking a meal. I only wished I had hap the presence of mind to take a photo of what was in front of me but as you can probably guess it took me by complete surprise, make no mistake if I had thought to get a photo I would have contacted the local fire officer and reported the incident. I am outraged that a hotel group of your renown allows guests to put the lives of other guests at risk with this type of behaviour. I have to inform you that this was by far the worst example of behaviour in any type of hotel I have stopped in in over 30 years of travelling for work business, and I can assure you that I will NEVER stop in this hotel again moreover I have been sharing my experience with colleagues who visit the Bristol area regularly. I would however like to finish on a positive note, the front of house were as horrified as myself when I reported the incident, and in fairness when I returned later in the evening I was informed the duty manager had investigated the incident but the party had finished and all was quiet. I am still deeply concerned that the guests in that particular room were not cautioned on their behaviour, this has all the potential of future disaster, and to be quiet honest I am still contemplating calling in on the local fire officer on my next visit and reporting the incident.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and normally fine, but this time had to move room a few times, first due to dirty pillows, then someone else was still in the second room. The last room was not nice, but seemed clean - until I saw the shower the next day and the shower curtain was covered in mould at the bottom. Asked them to switch it out but they didn’t do anything. Overall service levels are mediocre.

Booked a night in a standard double, sent a special request with it being my partners 30th and we had an upgrade, our room was gorgeous. Room was huge, had a stand alone bath with a walk in shower, also breakfast was lovely. Staff were really friendly too especially with having a toddler with us. Definitely recommend and we will be booking again :)
Well located but rooms out dated and in need of refurbishment

Room was in need of some refurbishment , chair had a large rip in it and the carpets were dirty and grubby. The room wasn’t vacuumed the next day and the corridors were full of the previous nights other glasses and plates . Also food left on the plates and not cleared away until the next day

Always stay in this hotel while in Bristol. fair prices and good location. On last few stays the standards seem to have dropped. Hotel slightly quite tired inside and out. Clientel also seems to have dropped with marginally antisocial behavior.
