Very less then the expectations, Overall not as per value we paid, long queue for Breakfast, no bowls or cutlery. Rooms not as per expectations. TV was not working at all , tap was leaking, need a lot of improvement.

We complained as we were woken up in the early hours of the morning by equipment been dragged down the corridor. We were in room 101. We went to breakfast at around 8:30 and after having taken a seat the issues began. Plates were not available. Bowls not available. only one hot buffet section open which meant the queues for hot food were really bad. We complained and are awaiting contact from the manager. i would like to be contacted with an explanation and compensation.

Friendly staff and good sized rooms but hotel feels like it needs investment and renovation. Tired, chipped furniture in rooms and the swimming area really needs refurbishing.

Well located, amazingly welcoming and kind staff. Our twin room with a bath was huge, huge. Two queen beds. My six year old son loved the pool (it could do with a lick of paint on the walls). Food was great and breakfast amazing. It's a light open centrally placed hotel and noise is not an issue. I'd go back definitely.

A well positioned hotel with good rooms, excellent beds and a good breakfast. The pool was small and busy but a comfortable temperature and clean, and the changing rooms are in need of an upgrade. The windows don’t open and the room was a little warm at night, despite the lowest setting on the rather noisy air conditioning. We would stay there again, but I wouldn’t rave about it.

A one night stay at the Mercure Holland House met expectations, although the building is beginning to feel a little dated. This is more than compensated for by the attentive staff and central location for business in Bristol

The room was comfortable and the breakfast good, but we were kept awake late into the night and woken early in the morning by the doors to neighbouring rooms slamming repeatedly. A member of staff did come up to investigate, but didn't stay long enough to find out who was responsible. The simple addition of a soft-close mechanism on the doors would have been enough to change our sleepless and fairly miserable night into a pleasant one. We won't be back.

I have used this hotel for 10 years now. Mainly for the location and the rewards scheme. However for the last few stays I have been disappointed with not being offered a privilege room.

Old tired and in need of some TLC

Rooms were lovely-bed was comfortable but after that it went downhill. Shower temp control was broken leaving it scalding hot. Had to use the gym changing room showers instead. One was broken so that the shower head wouldn’t stay up. In the other the door lock wouldn’t work and the light was broken. Oh, and the rowing machine batteries were flat. Complained at reception only to be told to send an email. Sent an email as instructed and have heard nothing. Premier Inn and Travelodge offer better customer service and quality than this place. Sorry! Could do so so much better!

Stayed for one night with kids to visit SS Great Britain and Clifton Bridge. Hotel well located, Room was good and clean, dinner in hotel was nice and breakfast great. Also used the pool with the kids which we all enjoyed.
