Unfortunately it did not start well room 138 no heating or hot water changed room to 137 fabulous room but no hot water again from 6.30pm however the staff were excellent in resolving the problems and certainly made our stay most enjoyable and we will certainly be back. Thanks once again to all the reception staff and the bar and food staff who looked after all our needs.

I think the first thing was it felt an extremely safe experience and therefore no issues in staying at a mecure. As normal mecure just offers that experience that you have no second thoughts in staying again.

The room was a little bit cold, with the heating turned up so not a good night sleep. Upgraded to a bigger room. Should have stayed in a smaller room. Behind the bed was extremely dirty not cleaned in a while.

Fully understand the difficulties of reopen the hotel after lock down but very basic non-covid issues really let the hotel down. The toilet flush was working. Reported to reception on multiple occasions who assured me it had been fixed....when I left the hotel two days later it was still not working !!!! Using a bucket to flush the toilet under any circumstance is not acceptable. Heating the room was not working again reported and no action taken. I will not be staying in this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

Hotel is in a good location for shopping and galleries, however the area it is located in is pretty rough and noisy. Our room faced a bar, which luckily had to shut at 10pm at the moment, in normal circumstances this would have been a noisy problem. Generally the hotel is pretty good, a bit rundown in places, I.e tiles had scratches, paint had flecked in bathroom, small marks on carpet etc.. Fairly clean, the odd cobweb and dust but nothing major, although behind our free standing bath was filthy. Staff are professional and pleasant, if a little aloof, they kept to themselves generally which is fine. Our suite I would personally say was poor value for money, I would expect it to be spotless for the price, also I would not expect to find empty cans/dirt/no’s cans under sofa, and hot water is a must.. The taps had to be run for 30 to get the water hot, likely due to the hotels lack of use For the last 6 months in fairness. Breakfast and the restaurant/food were excellent and first class, service at breakfast was fabulous! Overall I would not stay again because it is poor value for money.

Staff good but limited to what they could do. I sent you an email about this through the Accor app direct to your hotel asking for a room refund. You take the money at check in and then we we had no heating.

Hotel was nice but room didn't smell great heating didn't work and shower was cold not the greatest of experiences couldn't even contact anyone. Didn't want to go down there as was late night and didn't want the hassle of changing rooms so skipped having a shower and had to just stay in the bed as room as cold not great for a mecure to be honest room had a foul smell when walking in like the toilet wasn't working properly

Stayed 2 nights while visiting family. Have stayed here before as very near the centre, parking available and good facilities. Easy walk to central attractions, riverside etc. Covid safety procedures in place with good social distancing, masks must be worn in public areas and regular cleaning observed. Breakfast choice was good with table service replacing the usual buffet.

The room itself was fantastic - however, we had to return to reception twice as our key cards stopped working. When booking, I was told the restaurant was closed, and breakfast would be 'in a bag, to be collected', so it was disappointing to see the restaurant open on arrival! We had made reservations to eat elsewhere, but having stayed here before, we would have loved to have dined there again. I cancelled the breakfast bags and we ate out instead. A mixed weekend.

We felt safe and comfortable at all times, all government regulations were met. Everything was clean, the staff were polite and breakfast was just as enjoyable with table service. The location was perfect for us and we would happily stay again.
