The hotel is well located with easy access from the motorway, the rooms are large, well laid out and clean. The breakfast was good and they even had plant based milk if you asked (but not in the room) although no plant based sausages alas. Overall a stay at the Ibis represents very good value for the money. I only have one niggle. I drive an EV and it would have been great to put my car on one of the two chargers the hotel had however despite the carpark not being full both charging bays were occupied by non electric vehicles. This happens a lot, sometimes it's deliberate, but mostly it's just ignorance. However in this case I am not going to blame the car drivers. The charge post was overgrown in bushes, there was no signage to say that it was EV charging only and no road markings either. By 2030 most people will have moved over to EV's and all your guests will want to charge overnight, so starting now please add more charge bays and more charge posts. 3.3kw is perfectly ok they don't all have to be 7.7kw and you will find most people are more than willing to pay. I had to go and sit on a charger for 20mins after I left the hotel instead of going straight to my destination, this could have been easily avoided.

Hotel was hard to find, neither on Google maps nor our Satnav and as it is out of tiwn better guidance and signage would have been helpful. Once fiund, a typically good Ibis experience with a goog breakfast.

Requested ground floor rooms and they were provided with the two rooms close to each other. Quiet rooms and spacious. Liked being able to get food when we arrived late evening, which was hot and tasty. My only down point is there was not tea and coffee in the room but eas easily available from the restaurant. Check in staff very friendly.

Hotel in a wilderness of weeds. It looked so neglected. Receptionist very welcoming. Room fine and clean. Meal very poor. Most customers left a lot of food on their plates. Not good at all.

Ibis represents a consistent high, but no frills standard. We have stayed in a number of these hotels across Europe and have never been let down. The hotel is clean and the staff efficient and friendly. The major problem we had was finding the hotel using our phone satnav, which is not something easily addressed by the company, apart from the better use of signage. At the last minute we were directed to turn left, rather than go around the roundabout and drive back on the one way system. Once we had worked this out the next problem was missing the turning into the hotel and having to go around the one way system again,

We were given the wrong room.

This was an awful stay my. We booked a family to and were given a double. Three people had to share a bed with a rather wiggly four year old. The staff were friendly but could not change the room as they were full. It ruined our weekend as we were then tired for the rest of the weekend. I would not trust the hotel again.

Short overnight stay for work. Quick check in, clean room. Very quiet room and comfy bed. Good, well cooked breakfast with good variety and choice. Friendly staff.

Good location for the Crick boat show

The room was clean. The bathroom was cleanish, it requires some deep cleaning of tiles in the shower. Hallway on second floor desperately needed a vacuum cleaner. More staff are required at breakfast, because checkout staff were also waiting tables leaving the reception area unmanned.

Poor customer service, lack of staff and communication a long with atmosphere of staff not happy at this hotel Evening food service was terrible with 45min wait till orders were taken and then a further 2 hour delay on food and cold inside meat once arrived. Rooms were clean and tidy as expected and breakfast buffet was varied with food hot and replenished often. Support from Accor Hotels and senior management is needed to support staff and improve the service at this hotel.

I stayed here (again) for 4 nights for the duration of the Crick Boat Show. Rooms good value. Restaurant breakfasts and dinners were excellent and the service superb and fun. Lovely, efficient stay again. Until the next Show…..

Andrew H. 21/8/21 Room 114. I booked early check in at 9am at an extra cost of £10, as we had an appointment at the nearby Crick boat show. I stated this in my initial booking and also when I checked in online a few days before. When we got there on the day we were told it was busy and they had no rooms available! Of course it was busy it was the annual boat show and all local hotels were sold out, were you not prepared for this? We were offered nothing, just told to come back later. With no choice as we had to get to the show we accepted, said we'd return after 6pm when the show ended and I asked for the £10 fee to be refunded. It was never offered, nor any other recompense, nor an apology. That evening when we returned and booked in and explained what had happened, again nothing offered. Whilst in the hotel that evening, by email, I received the invoice with the £10 deduction on it. When I got home the next day, I received a final invoice where the £10 had been added back on. I rang the hotel and explained the whole event, to eventually, after being put on hold for 5 minutes, be told you'll get the refund in 5 days. Again no offer of apology, recompense, nothing. To add insult to injury the person on the phone said if you're not happy please ring us up, I said "I did, you did nothing!" A farce from start to finish and whilst I have used Ibis many times, I would never stay at the Rugby one again. This level of service is obviously the standard required there as I dealt with 3 members of staff and received the same poor service from all.
