I have stayed here at least 20 times. Simple, clean, modern room. If you don’t mind it small, go for it!

Our room had no reasonable provision for luggage. It had a small area that also had a ironing board in it. They came and took the board when I asked but it was still to small for a small checked bag. See the pics. It had 2 drawers. I was deep and 3/4 full of safe. The other was on the floor and shallow. But that's ok, because there wasn't anywhere to put an empty suitcase. We were on a 6 week trip so we each had 1 checked size and 1 backpack. We couldn't even place the bags under the bed because it had a solid base. The shower was terrible due to constantly changing temperatures and the overhead shower head meant you couldn't get away from it. Im a Marine. I like order and hate disorder. Our room couldn't be organized. We had 2 rooms. 1 was for a friend. They didn't even clean her room 1 day. And another day she had to leave while it was cleaned. This hotel was poorly designed and engineered. Who designs a hotel room with out making provisions for suitcases? The bed was good and the staff friendly. That was its only good points.

Another incredible stay at this perfectly located and affordable Melbourne establishment. Just about everything you need with exceptional customer and loyality recognition. Spectacular in house dining at the Pretty Boy restaurant and bar and equally fantastic morning breakfast buffet. Ibis rooms are cozy but very functional, comfy beds wonderful pillows and absolutely spotless. Cudos to housekeeping. The Ibis Novotel Melbourne Central punches above its weight in service delivery and literally a stones throw to the heart of Melbourne prime shopping, markets and business precincts. I love this hotel and the team members are welcoming, helpful and professional and so I can highly highly recommend a stay without hesitation in either the Ibis or Novotel rooms. This hotel was a basic hotel that did everything right. A great location and close to some great amenities. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. The room was a tad small, but nothing to be bothered about, and most importantly, clean. The breakfast was nice and had a good selection.

Room space is good but bad design of shower room without shower hose , we alway get head wet every night shower even we dont want to wash our hair and the water temperature was unstable even we request to change room but that problem still there. You need big water system check.
