I was a solo traveller but stayed here as one of over 20 with Exoticca. The hotel was comfortable, staff are friendly. It's quite near the station and a Lidl supermarket.

As we had to be in Lisbon and that the distance was to long to return home the same day, we choose to stay in The Mercure Lisboa Almada for the night. It is a 4-star hotel located in downtown Almada, at about 15 minutes from Lisbon center. It offers nice rooms, it is very clean and has an free underground carpark, it gives also easy access to Cristo Rei and the beaches of Costa da Caparica. The hotel offers 105 modern rooms, it is next to the Almada Metro, there are also on-site restaurants, we do think this is all you need for a perfect stay.

Staying overnight in Almada.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to be close to the Almada docks during our visit to Lisbon, as our goal was to visit the frigate "D. Fernando II è Glória" and the submarine "Barracuda." The Mercure Hotel is well-located and has ample free parking. The rooms are very clean, and the quality of sleep is excellent. The breakfast is also highly recommended. The staff is also very helpful. For the rest the hotel is at only 15 minutes away from the city center, easy accas to the Christo Rei, and the coast of Caparica. There are also restaurants in the hotel. We did love our stay and hope to return one day.

A visited the hotel 22-28 Jun 25. Nice, warm, friendly staff, very clean anf comfort room, rich breakfast. Thank you very much, especially the guys at the front desk.

A good alternatieve if you want to avoid the high prices of hotels in central Lisbon. There is a bus to Lisbon a ten minute walk away and a tramstop at three minutes that will take you to the ferry terminal with a ferry to Cais do Sodré. And public transport is cheap. The staff at reception managed a quick check-inn and I was allocated a superior room 509. I didn't get the standard upgrade to a privileged room for a Platinum Accor All member, probably because there is was no room in that category available. There was some fruit in the room and a welcome card from the manager and I did get my voucher for the welcome drink. I mailed the hotel via the Accor app, if it would be possible to get the other advantages of a privileged room, like a free minibar, but never got a reply. So, that is less than attentive. But there is a Lidl next to the hotel, so I filled the empty minibar myself. The bed is comfortable and a in room safe is provided. The standard of cleaning is good. The Wi-Fi is dependable. Overal for the price paid (€81 a night) this is a decent hotel.
