Novotel Lisboa is located just a 5-minute walk from the nearest Subway station, positioning your just minutes away from the city center. Being an Accor Diamond, the hotel has consistently applied related benefits. The Superior Rooms are spacious. Depending on weather and/or time or day, you need to know this property is on the landing path to the Lisbon airport. Housekeeping is not super consistent. Towels are not replenished or missing. Note that rooms do not have an iron and a board. You need to request that to front desk and bring it back at checkout which is a bit of a pain. The hotel restaurant is somewhat OK, nothing too special. There's no emphasis on quality with the restaurant offer or the service supplied. The breakfast is under par compared to other Novotel properties in the region. Coffee machines are consistently down, queues are forming when you're coming at the wrong time, and for some reason, they do not open up the whole sitting area for breakfast on certain busy days. A whole window had fallen into a guest's room on my departure, creating quite a stir. I don't know what the property has decided to do following that.

We stayed at Novotel Lisboa for 3 nights, firstly I've seen quite a few things about the location being inconvenient while it isn't in the city centre it is only 20 minutes away by metro and a 5 minute walk to the station, you can also walk in to the centre which takes about an hour. As Lisbon is such a busy city we actually preferred staying further out and it was only 15 mins by taxi or 35 mins by public transport to the airport. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a free minibar which was a bonus. I think this is a great option for a stay in the wonderful city of Lisbon.

I really recommend this hotel! The staff were lovely as was the room - it was spacious and had all the mod cons. It’s close to two metro stations so perfect for exploring Lisbon. I can’t fault it. I would definitely come back for another stay here!

An unexpected stay due to flight cancellation by TAP Portugal. Room - The Executive Room, 1 Queen Bed (27SqM) actually seemed more spacious than it is which I was happy with. The space looked exactly like the pics starting with the colorful entrance and open concept wardrobe to the right. The bathroom was a simple set up but perfectly adequate. Toiletries were Rituals branded which were actually quite nice! Food & Beverage - wanted to talk abit about the hotel's retaurant located on the lobby level - The Bicicleta - as I thought it was actually a very nice spot to hole up in after the flight cancellation drama. This is also the place where I redeemed my welcome drink of a glass of wine. Service - rather low touch but the staff at the restaurant was friendly. [Full review and pics on Satu Kosong Travels]

Horrible breakfast staff.worst breakfast dried bread omelet was good it's raining outside and my whole family was tired and baby was sleeping i came down at breakfast venue and ask for staff all family members didn't come because baby was sleeping and can I take 1 banana and 1 apple in room and was refused to bring an apple and 1 banana .I am travelling at least 5 years always staying in hotel. 1st time happens I paid for room and breakfast. Never come back in Novotel hotel and 💯 not recommend hotel.
