Daha önce de konaklama yaptığımız Novotel Lisboa'da bu sefer yaptığımız konaklama deneyimi bizi biraz hayal kırıklığına uğrattı. Rezervasyon yaparken otelin renovasyona girdiği ile ilgili tarafımıza bilgi verilmedi. Oteldeyken resepsiyon, yemekhane vs. kısımları değişmişti. İşçiler sürekli otele girip çıkıyordu. Bu bilgiyi daha önceden alsak belki başka bir otel seçebilirdik.

Good Hotel with great breakfast

Great Hotel with nice staff, very confortable beds and fantastic breakfast. The metro is about 5 minutes away. There were some renovations when we were there.

The property has seen its better days. Despite evidence of recent renovation, the reception area feels strangely similar to an old hospital reception, possibly because of the linoleum tiles. The Aircon doesn't really work as an Aircon, but more like an air-recirculator. Near as I can tell the room temperature feels similar to outside air regardless of how you tweak the setting. It is fine mostly unless you visit during hotter months. You can't even open the window, so no help there. The fridge works just as well as the aircon does, which is pretty much not at all. The room decor is definitely new, but it does nothing to help with the mushy smell of an old room. Overall, you are probably better off elsewhere.

I stayed here twice - within the last couple of weeks. Pros: great staff Phenomenal breakfast!!! Clean rooms Within walking distance of the subway Small supermarket nearby On-site parking Cons: during my 1st visit, absolutely worst bed ever - I ended up sleeping in the couch as the bed caused lower back pain that got worse every day. It’s the only reason I gave it only 3 stars. Not super central to the city proper
