The welcoming greetings were fantastic. Each time I walked in, I will be greeted. Fantastic job on that. The cleaning of the room schedule could have been better if they stick to early mornings. I could not see out my window as it was block by a layer of dust (outside).

We had a pleasant 2-night stay at Ibis Styles Kota Bharu from September 25 to 27. The hotel itself is quite well-kept, and our room was comfortable, well-sized, and fair for the price. The bed was just right—neither too soft nor too hard—allowing us for a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the decent welcome amenities, which included a nice touch of small local dodol served upon arrival. However, one minor drawback was that the glass windows were a bit dirty, making it difficult to fully enjoy the outside view from our room. Check-in was generally fine, though the front desk staff could have been a bit more thorough in explaining things. On the bright side, the duty manager, Anis, was exceptionally warm and helpful during our checkout, leaving a very positive impression. For transportation, we rented a car, and parking was wonderfully hassle-free. The automated license plate recognition system made coming and going simple—we just had to inform the front desk of our plate number once. The daily breakfast spread was decent, but the true standout of our culinary experience was the Friday dinner buffet. Although the front desk initially informed us it was fully booked, we decided to try our luck as walk-ins and managed to squeeze in when an empty slot opened up. In short, it was amazing! The atmosphere and crowd were great, complemented by a live performing duo artist who added a nice vibe, though they could still be slightly improved. Overall, a great value stay with wonderful hospitality from management!

his is the only Accor hotel in Kota Bahru. As it is an Ibis Styles, expect minimalist comfort and decent breakfast. Rooms are modern enough and clean. I like the breakfast here. They make Roti Titab for you (yes the one with sold boiled egg, butter and kaya). See video on how it’s made. Parking is free. Just inform front desk your license plate number before you exit the carpark.

This stay was another faultless ones and everything pretty much in order. I was very happy to receive complimentary food platter for rooms I have booked. All staff are courteous, friendly and accommodating be it at midnite during check in until we left. Our late checkout was honoured and I felt the above care and attention with my Accor status. I would return in the future for sure.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, right near the riverside, with a stunning view of the stadium—especially beautiful during festive occasions when the area comes alive with lights and activities. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any request. Special thanks to the team member who took the extra effort to decorate our room for our celebration. It was a thoughtful touch and made the occasion even more special. The hotel is also conveniently located with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. Another big plus for EV owners is the indoor car park with EV charging facilities, and the hotel provided a lower charging rate, which was very convenient and good value. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of local favourites and traditional choices. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay with great service, convenient facilities, and an excellent location. Would definitely consider staying here again.
