Very nice ambience at the lobby and modern room interior. Very Good service. Very near to Jiexpo kemayoran but a bit far from shopping area, 15 minutes to the nearest shopping center by taxi. Comply with covid protocol. Friendly staff.

Left feeling a little cold..

It's new, clean but with very little "atmosphere". It's quite a long way from the center of town and there's nothing to do close by. I only stayed as it was close to where I was having my meetings. Let's just say it won't be my first choice next time. Don't get me wrong, functionally it's o.k. but the service leaves a lot to be desired e.g. waited some time to check in as there was only 1 person on the front desk, waited in excess of an hour for a meal in the lounge which was a disaster when it arrived and it was only a chicken burger. The quality of the food isn't so good either e.g. some of the buffet dishes had been left out since lunchtime, others just topped up and the cheese had definitely been left out for a while. As for the drinks, most of the alcohol on the menu wasn't available. Finally watch the final bill. My booking said "nothing to pay at the hotel" but I was charged when I checked out.

The top hotel in a dynamic and growing part of Jakarta

I stayed at the Grand Mercure for three nights in mid-February 2020 on a business trip. The hotel itself is gorgeous and clean. However, there isn't much around it - the nearby commercial center is focused on electronics and auto parts, and there are no food places within easy walking distance. Travellers hoping to move around Jakarta using bus or tram lines will also be disappointed. However, taxis are easy to get hold of, and Grab is relatively ubiquitous in Jakarta. Despite these criticisms, the hotel provided an excellent stay and I would definitely stay here again on future visits to Kemayoran.

Quiet and clean

The room was very quiet and clean. However the massage in Spa was quite expensive when compared to other hotels. The reception explained to me Rp 250,000 but I paid Rp 660,000 for 90 minutes. We should find other places for massage.

There was no vegetarian option at the cattapa restaurant. the Manager of the restaurant Yogi was not at all intrested in attending or talking or listening to guest. even if you ask for Veg Nasi Goreng or the Fried rice the option was not Available, inspite of it being a Multi-cuisine Restaurant.

Great hotel except for the location

It was a great hotel , nothing much I could fault , could have been a five star if the location was better . Nothing around the surroundings and the nearest mall was at least half an hour away . If only there was development near the hotel I would bet this hotel would be extremely popular

No welcoming gesture from receptions . Room were not ready even after 15.00 . Called from reception telling me ( Platinum Member ) to vacate the room by 12.00 . Members check out area is there . But no staff available .

Stayed there for the third time and the hotel still boasts very friendly staff, a generally clean hotel, a location suiting my needs and spacious rooms. They should reduce smoking rooms and find or train their pastry chef.

Smoke and broken air Conditioning

I would not recommend staying at this hotel the first night I was given a smoking room on a smoking floor when I requested and non smoking room,and remind them of that at check in. I had a soar throat for days after sleeping in the horribly smelling room and got very little sleep. The second night I was transferred to another non-smoking room but this one did not have proper working air conditioning in it and I woke in the morning to a huge spider on the ceiling. When I told the front desk in the morning how unhappy I was with my stay did they did absolutely nothing about it. A gesture of some sort of discount or credit towards my next stay would have gone along way in making me feel better about my stay. I told them at check out that I couldn't believe they were charging me full price for such a unsatisfactory service.

Dirty Glasses and Poor Breakfast

Glasses are dirty and need more than 10 minutes to get my butter for bread and also bacon and on that day I have brerakfast there are not enough waiters to clean up tables .No parking space for hotel guest, this is my second complains before I have complain to MR Jefri F7B Director and assistant GM of the hotel about a year ago. Why must hotel guest need to pay valet fee, there should be car parking space for hotel guest even though there is wedding.I think Bagus had to take care of it. If Bagus have any doubts please drop me an email or can phone me directly. I am looking forward to hear from Bagus.

First time at this hotel chain and liked this hotel very much. My wife and I plan to be back very soon and will tell our family members to stay at this chain of hotels in the future. Very comfy bed

This is my third time stay in Grand Mercure Kemayoran. Overall we are satisfied with the services provided and comfy bed. But there is one trouble during our stay, which was the elevator stuck in 8th floor when want to going back to my room.

I wont book this hotel not any more. I wnt to the spa nad it really looks like a mancave. there are only man in this spa sitting in comfy chairs, smoking drinking and the there are well dressed girls who serve and are very friendly. I came in and i tought i was in a bar and not in a spa. One of the girls saw me and respond very quickly she wanted to have me out and said to me i will sent a girl up to your room for massage. I didnt ask a question jet!!!! So i ask if this is the spa? yes it is but only have 1 massage 1.5 hours and only in my room? I got a really uncomfortable feeling by that. I also had to leave the room asap it was only for poeple who booked. Because i was just a woman traveling bymyself it was very akward. also the pool..... same story..... a lot of "working"girls so if this is what you are looking for its a great hoel, becasue as you can see all the other services are really good!

Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran is one of the best 5 stars hotel at Jakarta. Check-in and check-out at front office was extremely efficieny, just showing the booking code and Accor member. On this occasion, we would like to extend gratitude to Mr. Candra (front officer) for your hospitality and friendly service, it's very impressive, we will back soon for another staycation on Christmas season for several days. Thank you Mr. Bambang (Catappa restaurant manager) for your warm services during our family staycation, we enjoy so much dinner at Catappa, so many yummy foods served freshly. You guys are awesome, keep it up! Indeed, my children are very happy to stay here, it has a spacious room and nice view, luxury lobby, luxury Plumeria lounge to get welcome drinj, stunning deco in every diferent events, a nice pool for children. GMJK - a great place to stay in North Jakarta

- Rooms are great. We choose connecting rooms on the 10th floor as we had 2 kids with us. This was just prefect for the family and the kids loved it as well. - Breakfast options are a plenty for most taste buds, however vegetarians would just have to rely on fresh fruits, juices and breads. There is an Indian food corner which actually let us down considering they had put up pita bread & chick peas into breakfast!! (more like someone trying to complete a check list than really thinking from the consumer perspective) - Staff is very good and polite. They are well groomed, speak great English and always willing to help. - Location of the hotel is great if you considering moving around North part of Jakarta (say Monas, Menteng, Ancol, Thousand Islands, etc) or are visiting JI Expo for some exhibitions. - Nearby Lunch / Dinner options are absent, except a few great Indian restaurants such as Udupi & Zanas in TKC right across the road. For other cuisines, you are better off dining-in or going to Sudirman / Menteng.

I'm an accor plus member and got a room upgrade voucher... After using the voucher we feel like that the unupgraded room was better, so I asked to get back to our first room... surprisingly the reception staff (I forgot her name... dita or something) comply our request with a very unpleasant face expression... The other staff is exceptionally great, that one reception really piss me off during the stay
