Don't give adjoining rooms to professionals travelling for business!!

My previous stays have been lovely at this hotel, but I wasn't very pleased this time. Despite being once again presented with a modern, clean and spacious room - I was travelling for business (a fact I alerted the hotel to at time of booking) and upon check in, my colleague and I were told our rooms were adjoining via an internal door. This did not exactly feel very professional - and we quickly discovered we could both hear one another moving / coughing / sleeping through the door. It made us both uncomfortable and slightly on edge in our rooms. I believe joining rooms should be reserved for families traveling together, not professionals on a business trip. So this time, sadly I was rather disappointed with our stay.

I left my phone charger in the room. I have emailed the hotel and received no response. I have called the hotel and the phone is not answered.
