This is a smart hotel in a very smart city. Decent sized, well furnished room. Nice big bar area with very good staff.

in the room air was very dry. my skin, lips and eyes were burning. The room has not been made the first day because of a new policy "go green skip a clean" that was not mentioned to me. i wish i had known. after I complained room was made every day. going clean does not mean skip a clean, it suffices not to change towels, this seems to me like a way to save money for the hotel. Pool, sauna, all extra payment, not included in the room costs. Bath was small, room was huge to contain two king size beds that I did not need since I was alone. I remembered I stayed in this hotel few years ago, and the standards were different, much higher. now it is no longer in line with the costs of the hotel in Wiesbaden in my opinion.

Good welcome, friendly staff, bedroom was excellent, breakfasts outstanding. Very helpful reception staff. Just a couple of comments: room only serviced once, had to help ourselves to toilet roll and clean towels from the trolley. Mugs very difficult to clean. One unpleasant incident when my wife was escorted out of the breakfast room as it was stated “she was not registered for breakfast”. It was quickly rectified but still publicly embarrassing.

The service was great but the room was too hot to sleep in. There was no working AC and we left earlier due to these circumstances.

Die Klimaanlage im gesamten Hotel wurde am 5.4.2024 eingeschaltet und ist von jedem Zimmer aus selbst regulierbar. Unser Team an der Rezeption steht 24 stunden rund um die Uhr bei fragen zur Einstellung zur Verfügung. Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn wir Sie zukünftig noch einmal als Gast im Mercure Hotel Wiesbaden City begrüßen dürften, damit Sie sich von unserem gewohnten Service überzeugen können.
