I stayed at Ibis Styles Basel City the first time in May 2024. I was very impressed with the hotel being new, well maintained and clean. Staff was also exceptional. Had to come back, if I have a chance to visit Basel again. In Oct 2025, I have a business trip to Basel and again choose to stay at Ibis Styles Basel. The hotel remains well kept and extremely clean. Everything works really well. In addition to last visit, they add the water dispenser on every floor which is a great idea. Breakfast is really nice and adequate. The food constantly is looked after to make sure it is well replenished and the buffet area stays clean. Some variation in food offered between two consecutive days, as I stayed for two nights, is a nice touch. I am happy to experience the same nice treatment from the hotel staff as I have had last year. This ranges from reception, restaurant/bar staff, housekeeping and all. I encountered a few times when the staff actually sing/hum while working. This shows how happy they are and that translates into the great service provided. It is indeed a great atmosphere in the hotel. Special shout out to Axel, the front office supervisor, who makes me feel genuinely welcomed, once again. He makes sure I am a happy guest and is very attentive in providing anything I need. Many thanks once again for your exceptional service!!! Keep up the great work, Ibis Styles Basel... I look forward to the next trip to Basel and the visit to your hotel.

Awful stay. Room was on top of 15 track wide train track and trains ran every minute 24 hours a day - also close to a station so they are screeching breaks as they go by the hotel. The room shakes - the noise is deplorable - whole thing was awful - 3 nights didnt sleep a wink. I don’t even feel like commenting on anything other than this about this hotel - it’s average anyway but be grand if wasnt for this situation - it’s now 1:30am and I’m still awake just listening to trains screech by and shake the bloody room! Awful I’m sure there are rooms not sat on the side of the track but if you get one - change immediately - horrific experience

Our hotel is indeed located close to the railway, and while many guests appreciate the convenience of nearby transport, we acknowledge that this can be challenging for some who might be very sensitive to outside noises that might be heard a little in the room. For sure, the isolation was made in the building, while being aware of the fact that trail rails are in proximity. I must admit, that most of our guests do not really have the same complaint in the ibis styles basel city. I have a suspiction that you mistook our ibis styles basel city to the ibis budget basel city, where the sound isolation is some less effective that the one in our hotel. We value your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continually seek to improve our guest experiences. Dobre miejsce na pobyt – stosunkowo blisko stacji kolejowej i (darmowego w czasie pobytu w hotelu) transportu publicznego. W hotelu miałem okazję nocować kilka lat wcześniej i w sumie nic nie zmieniło się od tamtego czasu. Obsługa jest solidna i przyjazna. Pokoje raczej „no frills”, ale to Ibis. Przynajmniej nie są małe i w miarę nowoczesne. Dziwnym akcentem jest woda w kartonach, a nie w butelkach. Śniadanie zupełnie przyzwoite, a nawet dobre biorąc pod uwagę, że to Ibis, nie mam tutaj zastrzeżeń.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, with daily cleaning and fresh towels provided. I especially liked that in the bathroom, the toilet can be closed off separately. Amenities include soap, shampoo, and shower gel, and I was particularly pleased to find face wipes (I don’t use regular towels, so this was very important for me). The blackout curtains and soundproofing were excellent, one of the reasons I love hotels in German-speaking countries. There was no refrigerator or kettle in the room, but that wasn’t an issue for me. Breakfast was delicious and fairly varied. I also appreciated the 24/7 access to a coffee machine and water in the lobby, as well as the bar and snack bar. We stayed on the top floor and had a beautiful view. The location is convenient just 2 stops from the train station and 4 stops to the city center, with the tram stop nearby. Since the hotel provides a Basel Card, public transport was free. The reception staff were helpful, providing umbrellas, answering questions, and allowing us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Overall, it’s a great hotel for the price. Highly recommended 🙌

Wszystko ok,ale dla osób z klaustrofobią to odradzam. Schody na 2-gim piętrze kolo windy zamknięte - nieczynny czytnik kart; nawet.
