Aparthotel Adagio access Saint Louis Bâle 3 gwiazdki

I have already stayed 2 times at the hotel, for 8 days each time and I wouldn't change it for anything. the place is very nice and clean, the rooms are big, the bed is comfortable and the mattress orthopedic (I have a problem in my lower back but I woke up without pain) the staff is very friendly and helpful, they have a treat machine if you are hungry at night and need a chocolate or some snacks, as well as a coffee or hot chocolate machine! the rooms are warm for the winter (when I went it was -5 outside!) but if you feel cold they have a radiator and a very warm blanket. they also have a nice heated swimming pool. I didn't taste the breakfast because I woke up late! It has a very good bakery-pattiserie near with delicious French dishes. overall I have no negative comments to write, I love this hotel and can't wait to be there again!

I stayed here for one night on a really hot day in Basel. The check in was quick and friendly. The receptionist was lovely. I found it odd that she mentioned there is a 25 euro charge if the kitchen is not cleaned on leaving. I arrived in the room and it was quite small with the kitchen being VERY small and kind of over the sink. It was a sink, fridge and microwave. No cooker or dishwasher. The room was very warm and there was no air conditioning but thankfully a fan had been provided. This did help to cool the room but not much. I found the cleaning schedule odd. It states in the room that you get cleaning weekly (if you stay a week or more) but surely this is not enough?? Anyway that’s irrelevant for me who was staying one night but it did strike me as odd. Sure enough there is a sign up in the kitchen saying you have to wash your own pots and if not you will be charged 25 euros. Again, I find this very odd since surely this should be part of the cleaning when you check out? Apart from this the location was good and the staff friendly. I did not have breakfast in the hotel. Overall, an okay stay.

The truly lovely, friendly staff are the only positive I can take away from this hotel. We booked late so everything else in a reasonable price range was booked up. For the price we paid, it was quite disappointing. Gives off strong youth hostel vibes, rooms in serious need of an update. No air-con ( and it's currently 35°C) and room smelled weird and fusty. Worst of all was the noise. We had a ground floor room and the noise from reception as well as guests sitting out until the wee hours on the terrace area continues until well after midnight. Then guests started to leave (at top volume) at 4am again. There is no sound-proofing inside the room either, i.e. from the bathroom. There may as well be no door at all. We paid €11 each for breakfast. The selection was sparse but edible. In summary, we would not return to the hotel unless nothing else was available. We value a decent night's sleep too much.

The staff was nice and friendly. They gave us good tips to explore around The location was perfect to explore Basel and there is parking next to the building. The room carpet was not very clean but the rest of the room was correct

All good, the only problem is the wi-fi connection was horrible. It said too many users connected and constantly kicked me out. I can't imagine if the hotel was actually fully booked..... For the rest all good
