This is an excellent mid-range hotel about a five-minute walk from Cornavin Station. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and my room was clean, modern, and quiet. I had their breakfast, which was generous and tasty. Overall, this was a perfect place for a quick stay in Geneva.

You get what you pay for with this hotel. A good clean room, great breakfast happy helpful staff and very close to train station and lakeside Only moan is two small towels are not enough for two people staying for four nights

Having read a couple of reviews prior to travelling somewhat concerned at the one stars criticising everything So to give a fair review 1. The hotel is centrally located giving easy access to the Christmas markets, old town and rail networks 2. The staff across the whole hotel were delightful, polite and could not do enough for you. 3. The rooms are small but typical city hotel, clean, tidy and appear to have been refurbished 4. Someone said they were afraid to go out as in the red light district. What a load of nonsense we all walked around freely and even the street girls were polite and wished you a good holiday as you passed them 5. The showers were high powered, hot and a pleasure to use with shampoo and body wash in the cubicle 6. With the windows closed there is no mouse whatever I would definitely stay here again for it’s staff and superb location Thank you

The first IBIS Hotel that was a disappointment for two reasons - i) making their luggage holding service as a Profit Centre; the only Hotel in our 28 day trip across Italy and Switzerland which would not give you and early check in even if rooms are available so that you necessarily use their luggage holding facilities which are prominently displayed at the Check In Counter in a kind of a Standard Utility that you have to avail and pay for - and it is not inexpensive either. They have made a fine art out of it - the self select dashboard gives you many options of both locker size and time usage ii) pathetic breakfast spread - with very very limited options .... and the Staff though polite and courteous expressed their helplessness for both issues as "Company Policy" Moreso when compared to the Hotel Geneve Centre Gare on the other side of the Geneva Main Rail Station which was very welcoming, gave us an early Check Inn at 10.30 am; offered to keep Luggage free of cost for some other Guests who arrived just after us; and the breakfast too was much much better.

I like IBIS hotels a lot, and even have their loyalty card as I am frequently staying at those hotels. On a November 2025 morning, I went to Geneva for business and had this hotel booking for the next night. Instead of carrying my luggage all the way through today, I went to the hotel shortly before lunch to just drop my back, being aware that before lunch, you can’t check in for the next night. At the reception they wanted to charge me CHF 7 for just dropping my bag even though I am a hotel guest for the next night and I do have the loyalty card. I find this a little bit ridiculous and this is a an extreme way to boost ancillary revenues at the expense of loyal guests. In my view a clear no go!
