Part of my stay at Novotel Suites Geneve Aeroport has been payed by points. In the checkin procedure the clerk charged me the amount of the used points in Swiss Francs. The reservation explicitly showed that the points were used. The hotel is in fact not close to the airport and there is no hotel shuttle to the terminals.

We got a very VFM deal in super-expensive Geneva via Accor Website. The suite is smallish, can fit a family of 2 adults and 2 small kids. There was daily housekeeping and the front-desk are very polite and efficient. Location is great, just across Balexert mall with lots of food options. The toilet is separated from the bath and a very tiny claustrophobic space, thats the only issue we found.

Great sleep

Only stayed for a night but it's the best night sleep I had. The front desk was responsive when I needed help with my room. I appreciate having a mini coffee and microwave setup in the room along with a separate sink that's not in the bathroom to get water and make tea and coffee. The bus outside is convenient and the hotel will provide a city bus card for you to use so you're never stranded without public transportation. Will probably book again if I am ever in Geneva.

Quiet convenient and clean

We spent 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located to the airport via the number 10 bus and across the street from the Balexert shopping center. There is a nice garden terrace out back and in good weather, the Swiss restaurant also serves on the terrace. Our suite was clean, very quiet and a comfortable size. The microwave and refrigerator were a nice addition. The shopping center has a selection of stores and an excellent Migros. We purchased prepared food at Migros for some of our lunches and suppers. It is easy to take the number 10 bus to/from the airport. The same bus also takes you downtown to the lake in about 15-20 minutes. The hotel isn’t close to any other restaurants which was a not concern for us. During our three days, we took a short boat cruise, a Viatour walking tour and a visit to CERN.

The hotel is located in front of a fantastic mall and connected to several transport options. On the flip side, it is quiet and in a residential neighborhood, which makes it a very attractive option instead of the noises and rougher city center. The room I had, 617, was large, comfortable and cleaned to perfection every day. Breakfast was nice and overall the hotel was one of the nicer ones I have stayed in Geneva. A huge thanks to Kim, Benjamin and Tyron for their help, professionalism and friendly attitude, it made a huge difference during my stay. Until next time!
