We are making our way around Europe every December before Christmas to see different cities and markets. We loved Geneva. A small city, easily reached from airport by train and easy to navigate for a few days break. The Christmas markets were small and unimpressive but the city had charm to take in for a short visit. The hotel was central to the city, was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The city is worth a visit and the hotel is a great base to explore from

My family & I enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. It was conveniently close to reach the city centre on foot and also the train station and Flixbus station. We enjoyed very much the food and service of the restaurant. Staff was very kind and helpful to advice good solutions in case of need. We all liked the room received very much.

Absolutely horrendous customer service from the staff at the reception.

Seriously not a place I would like to stay with my family again. We were arriving from gstaad at 10pm and therefore checked in late. As gold Accor members we were given a room which was decent but nothing special. Reception staff was abrupt and defensive. I am so shocked to see that there is a blood stain also on the pillow and room therefore wasn’t made until very late or shall I say prepared as it’s fresh. Hygiene levels are atrocious. Never stayed at a Novotel but this is just a quick stay as flying out back home. Horrible horrible place and service!

This hotel chain never fails. Nice location, walking distance to everything, Geneva center, Cornavin station, Lake Geneva, Bains des Paquis and shopping areas. Comfortable beds, comfortable and clean rooms. Our room did not have a view, but is was worh the stay. Lots of choices for food and dining.

Great hotel, awful location

Hotel itself is well maintained and comfortable. The majority of staff are very polite, well mannered and helpful. But I absolutely would not recommend for families or couples. The hotel is situated very close to the airport and train station but I really wouldn’t recommend due to the noise, possibly worse as we were only on the first floor. 2/3 nights were spent awake listening to shouting and screaming until 3am from the street (Rue De Berne) directly outside our window. On our last night we were woke up at 2am to screaming and fighting virtually right outside our window. Men banging cars, screaming at each other, luggage being thrown around etc. As 2 women we didn’t feel completely safe here.

Finally, we hope that the central location of our hotel, within walking distance to the train station and close to Geneva's beautiful lake and attractions, provided some convenience to your visit. For families seeking a peaceful atmosphere, a short walk to the right upon exiting the hotel leads to the lakefront, offering a variety of family-friendly activities.
