Stayed at this airport hotel as I had an early morning flight. Simple but very clean room. Had everything I needed. If you are an aviation enthusiast, the view of the control tower from the room might be exciting! I was fascinated. The hotel has a casual restaurant. It is also next to a pullman which had a nice looking restaurant there as well. Easy walk to the domestic airport. There are shuttles (I think might be $8) to the international terminal. I think it's an excellent choice if you have an early morning flight or travelling for business. Friendly and professional staff. Stayed using Accor free night with membership. Given a small box of Lindt chocolates as a welcome gift for membership which was a nice touch.

Great location

We had a great stay. Front desk was very helpful, offered wake-up call, reserved early morning shuttle for us. Very clean. The bed was the most comfortable in our 3 week trip, too bad we hardly got to use it since we had an early morning flight. We returned our rental car at the airport the evening before our flight and had an easy walk back to the hotel. Very convenient location. It cost more than some other options further away, but it was worth it. Restaurant attached was great convenience too.

Taxi never arrived

We recently had an overnight stay at the Ibis Brisbane Airport, the stay was acceptable. I asked the reception staff to order us a taxi to take us to the airport the following morning. Let me start by saying the receptionist on the morning we left was professional, kind and went out of her way to help. The Ibis booked us a taxi through 13 cabs, this taxi never arrived. When we inquired, the taxi company recorded us a no show, we waited out the front of the hotel in plenty of time, we were there the taxi never showed up. A taxi was reordered using the same company, same issue. 20 minutes our booking time, we asked the receptionist to rebook using a different company, the taxi from the new company arrived and we were transported to the airport. The 13 cabs blatant disrespect for bookings made a pleasant stay extremely stressful. I would ask the hotel to consider using reputable taxi companies and consider the needs of there guests, no one needs to be later than planned to an airport. 13 Cabs you need to be ashamed, Ibis Brisbane Airport, you need to ensure that you use a reputable and reliable taxi company, leaving guests stranded is unacceptable and quite frankly unprofessional.

Basic hotel at very premium price

Basic hotel, close to the airport. You’ll pay a premium room rate for the location but that’s it. $100 holding fee will be taken despite having nothing in the room to buy. You won’t get that back for over a week. The bathroom toilet smelt like sewage until we flushed it several times. On top of the premium room rate, you’ll be charged $40 for overnight parking. Restaurant food is average. I’d be looking at other options next time

Ibis Brisbane Airport is very close to Brisbane Domestic and just a short train trip from the international airport and if you have reservations the train is free. Great shower and fantastic water pressure and the bed is extremely comfortable. There is a restaurant with good food and we will stay there again.
