It has the best facilities in Korea and a kind check-in counter. All the facilities are clean, and the night view outside the hotel also has the best view. Also, the train station and the movie theater are connected, so it has an excellent location. Despite its excellent accessibility, it is well positioned to take a quiet rest.

It's my first time visiting. I went to the anniversary and it was so nice. The service was good, the room condition was good, and it was very good. I have a doctor to visit again. It's well-positioned and has a clean table.

Good Stay, Nice Location

I have stayed at the hotel several times now and can probably notice the small things slightly better than new customers. Usually, the stays are above par and pretty satisfying. And this time as well, overall I enjoyed the visit. However, there were a few things that could have gone a little more smoothly: 1.) Check-in Procedures: The check-in lady asked for my spouse's ID. In all my previous stays at this hotel, this was never asked for before. Although it's fine I have to grab this, but if you're going to change / introduce a new policy, the lady should have more clearly explained the reason for the change in policy. 2.) Check-in Procedures: The check-in lady forgot to ask for my vehicle's license plate number. I had parked my car in the garage earlier, and when I had tried to leave the garage after the check-in, the gate did not recognize my vehicle. It caused confusion with the gatekeeper on the audio call button, and there were cars backed up behind me because of the delay. Very inconvenient. 3.) Check-in Procedures: The check-in lady only provided 2 card keys instead of the usual 3. I was not able to provide a card key for my spouse since 1 card was inserted to charge the power in the room and 1 card was with me. 4.) Check-in Procedures: After completion of the check-in and everything was complete, we started to collect our bags and headed towards the elevator. The check-in lady called us back to the counter because she forgot to charge the deposit fee for the room. She should have completed that transaction while I was still sitting at the check-in counter. Very unprofessional, and the lack of training is clearly apparent. 5.) Room cleanliness: There was a pet stain (cat?) behind the door that the cleaning lady missed from the previous customer. I tried to wipe some of it, but the odor was so strong we had to ask the front desk to send the cleaning lady and use the cleaning solution and deodorizer. The stench of that urine was so awful, I will always remember that as part of my hotel stay. 6.) Breakfast staff: The staff that was working on the floor was playing on her iPhone. Again, really not a big deal for cheaper hotels, but for higher service hotels, the customers are not paying expensive hotel prices to watch the staff playing on their phone. 7.) Breakfast staff: The staff is usually supposed to ask the customers what they want to drink (tea, coffee, etc.). The staff forgot to ask. Of course, we understand we could just ask for the drinks, but again, we're paying for higher costs because of the expectation of higher levels of service. In general, I think there are 2 possible issues. Either the staff is not being trained properly, or the person in charge of training has not been performing their job properly. Once again, please take these comments not as being retributional but as providing feedback as to the slowly declining level of service noticeable compared to my previous visits. Customers are paying high prices to stay at your hotel and should expect nothing but the best.

Aspects that you pointed out are linked to basic manual and that’s very shame on me about incidents that you encountered. 1. ID check – It’s reason for security and safety of our valuable guests in case of any emergency. And it’s another reason to recognize guests in terms of managing guests data base. 2. To register vehicle’s license plate number/ To issue 1 more extra key for power charge/To secure deposit/ Room Cleanliness – I will address to stick to basic manual through regular and continuous training. 3. To play mobile phone in the guests’ area –It is true for staff to carry mobile phone because it can be tool of guest assistance. However, I let staff pay attention to use mobile phone if need, just in front of a guest who seeks for specific information. 4. Coffee or Tea preference order –In spite of one of our manual to place an order it, it’s missing. It's shared within team to prevent same issue from happening. The Hotel is new, and integrated in a huge Hotel Complex. The staff is experienced and friendly. I‘ve got a nice upgrade and as Platinum Member access to Exec.-Lounge, which is really big. Quality of food and beverages at Lounge is delicious combined with a wide range..

Wonderful stay with friendly staff. Hotel is impeccable with a top tier executive lounge and a modern gym with large pool. Rooms are big, clean, and well decorated. The views are truly stunning and the location provides easy access to the best parts of Seoul.

What's the point?

Am not sure if it was clear but when I booked online via Accor site, I thought I was giving my credit card details to guarantee the stay as well as prepay the accommodation booking. Actually, when I received the confirmation, it showed that I had prepaid and balance to pay at the hotel was zero. So my surprise and annoyance, that when I was checking in, I was asked to pay for the accommodation. I said I had prepaid, they said no because the hotel system and Accor website were somehow not connected or integrated and no credit card transaction went through. I showed the confirmation email but still not. They said I should just check my transactions. Yeh, sure, easier said then done. Anyway, yes, systems were not integrated and I was not charged when I made booking despite what confirmation said. I paid at hotel. But stupidly annoying. Accor, thought you were better. Also, check in was basically average with front desk staff not reminding me room rate included breakfast and where. I had to ring down. Lucky room was good.

Believe this is the first time I have ever given a 5* rating to any hotels as their services, in every ways, truly went beyond my expectations. Starting from before arrival where I made enquiries on its website, to the way we are treated dying our stay, and the immediate attentions and remedies they provide upon receiving your call for attention. Just make you feel like a guest of honor! However, there are a couple of downsides amidst their fantastic friendliness which need improvements: 1) their provided toiletries - is quite a struggle to get the shampoo, shower gel, and hair conditioner out of their bottles as they are too thick and the bottles are too hard to squeeze on too; 2) is a little far from public transportations. A complimentary ride from the hotel to the nearest train station will be perfect!

The teams constantly strive to exceed our guests’ expectations of service and they are always satisfying to hear that these efforts are noticed. 1) Location: Seoul Dragon City including Grand Mecure, are strategically located in Yongsan-gu in Seoul near the Yeouido and the Central Business Districts. It is just a stone’s throw away from the Yongsan railway (ITX & KTX) and three subway lines (1, 4 & 6) as you described. Consisting of four brands with 1,700 rooms, multiples bars & restaurants, large meeting & convention space, and a world’s first, four full floors of entertainment, Sky Kingdom, suspended between two of the towers. 2) Toiletries: We will change all as LELABO, as well as container of bottles based on several guests’ feedback soon. * LE LABO is a New York–based perfume house that has become iconic for its collection of handmade perfumes and home scents available in a limited number of stores and labs around the world. We cannot be Grand Mercure Ambassador Seoul Yongsan without you. If your travels bring you back to Seoul, please do contact me directly so that I can take personal responsibility of your stay. The room is very nice and comfortable with shuttle bus to Seoul Station,Ganghwamun and Myeongdong on weekdays. The location is superb, within 2 minutes from Yongsan station exit 3. Yongsan Station has direct ITX to Chuncheon and KTX to Busan. Exit 1 is E-Mart and Exit 2 has a lot of restaurants from level 4 to 7. Airport bus 6030 is just downstairs within the roundabout of this hotel.

Newly opened. But they say middle of November will be their grand opening. Some facilities are not operating yet. (Such as 31st floor, restaurants) You can find staff's strong service mind. Location is good for the locals, might be little difficult for foreigners, but mass transportation is available.
