Very well-placed Hotel next to the train station. Very clean, toilet bidet wasnt working when we arrived but promptly fixed. Staff (in particular Kevin, who helped us check-in) there are polite too. Great place for convenient travel

I stayed in the hotel last week using my free night award. Check in count staff was so nice and clam. She really tried to explain about hotel and facilities So i could understand all of them even the hotel was very spacious. if you have some tier they treat well with funny presents. I used junior suite room where have beautiful view. you can watch the Han river and normal Korean's life.

Stayed for 5 nights. Staff were friendly and generally able to communicate with simple English. Staff at counter were friendly and professional. Staff at concierge were able to help with simple request but they were unable to help with more complex information or request due to lack of understanding (English) and we had also a different understanding of concierge service (e.g. I needed their help to make a dinner reservation at another Accor hotel nearby and to help ask if there are any dining privileges. They were unable to help.) Love their sauna and gym. For sauna, it's like a mini jjimjilbang (korean traditional spa) complete with the public bath, hot (green tea) pool, cold pool and sauna room. It was great for us who were too shy to go to a local public bathhouse. For the gym, you can do your workouts overlooking the city/han river/beautiful sight. Really regretted not bringing along my workout stuff. Location of this hotel is great! Many buses and trains available. Both yongsan station (with KTX to busan and many other areas) and sinyongsan station (lead to places in town like myeongdong etc) are within a short walking distance. It is also located near Han River and wholesale fish market (just a few bus stops away). It is also to safe to take public transport at night. Latest we got home was about 11pm and there were still a lot of people around. There is also a massive shopping complex beside it with very good food and cinema. You can also choose your comfort level from the different hotels in this complex (accor hotel ranges). For accor members, simple welcome drink and some welcome gift (nuts & drinks) as usual. Only qualms was the lack of dining privileges here (compared with some countries where sometimes it usually range from 15% to 50%). Either that or they did not understood my question.

My first time staying at the latest Accor chain hotel. This Dragon city Yongsan come with 3 hotels all under one roof which is the Mercure Ambassador/Novotel and Novotel Suites and Ibis Styles Ambassador. Pros:- 1)Right behind the hotel is the Yongsan KTX Station and Shinsegae Shopping Mall and you just need to take the outside elevator next to the Novotel suites hotel and walk less than 8mins you will reach there. 2) It is a quiet ambience, and without the so called touristic spots noisy clients. More of business and also family leisure type of hotel. Even though I saw many groups stay here like the local sports team and some business events group stay here as well. 3) The room is sound proof so it's still a very good environment to me. 4) Rooms are just nice for either solo traveler or a couple for the superior room but if you have lots of luggage then better get a suite room as the superior room also not enough space for the luggages. 5) There is the airport shuttle bus services by paying around KRW 13,000 or 15,000 if not wrong. Just wait in front of the Mercure Ambassador hotel will do, they have the time slot, check with the conceirge. Last but not least, maybe if there is self laundry services machine will be great. Never get the chance to have their breakfast, hopefully next time will have the chance. Being an Accor member, they never failed to surprised me! Which is why, my first choice will be Accor chain hotels.

It was a lovely experience. Since it is very near to the Yongsan station and the second-hand electronics shop, the experience was very good. Also the hotel staff were very nice, lovely and kind to assist me in anything I asked. And the added bonus was that they spoke english.
