BEWARE BED BUGS

Our room had bed bugs. When we raised it to the management we were told that we must have brought them from home. We had no bites before arriving and after staying the night we are covered in bites. We found a bed bug on the wall not even close to the bed and the manager said they had also found some In the bed frame once they checked the room. We have been offered £47 despite paying nearly £200 to stay for two nights get eaten alive and have to pay to get all our belongings we took with us decontaminated. Beyond disgusting

The hotel is across the road from Midi Station, but the area isn’t particularly nice. The public areas and rooms have been refurbished and are of a very decent standard. The beds were comfortable and the HVAC worked well. Sound- and light-proofing in the room was good. The breakfast is terrible value for EUR25pp. Overall decent value, but a good 20-30min walk from the city centre itself.

We booked the family room for my family of 4 and got adjoining rooms which was nice. From a proximity standpoint, the location of the hotel is great within a few mins walk from the Brussels Midi station. From a security standpoint, we will have to be careful as it can be quite deserted if you stay out too late. Staff is generally quite friendly. Room is well maintained and bed is really comfortable.

Good location for travelers wanting to stay close to the station. But the front desk service really makes you question if this is an Accor hotel or just a budget place where no one cares to work or provide the level of service you'd expect from the Accor brand. The bathroom layout is also odd, you end up trying not to flood the place every time you take a shower. Great location but everything else not so much

The hotel is well located and budget friendly. The staff at the reception and during meals are friendly and helpful. The rooms are also clean and spacious though we had a issue with the air-conditioning.which wasn't functional. Opening the window meant noise and pollution from traffic. No many restaurants in the vicinity if one needs to explore other places. Breakfast was nice with varied enough choices. As for dinner, a disaster! It must be the worst experience I have had in a hotel/restaurant.. My husband complained and got half price. Actually we ought to have all gotten half price, but my two teenage children and I just wanted to get over with it, and leave, and felt sorry for the waiter (not her fault). It actually felt like the kitchen staff were spiteful and didn't care a dime about the food they served us. It was to be vegetable and chicken masala/,curry, but must have been leftovers of canned food made by a tired cook who overcooked them. I ate just because i was so hungry and there weren't many restaurants around. My food was partly hot, partly cold (felt like the cold overcooked carrots were just dumped on the plate and shoved to the waiter to bring them). All the rice and the rest of the food was mixed up like baby food. The few chicken bits didn't taste or look like real chicken .. I guess some processed tinned stuff cut in cubes!). Honestly, it is better to simply not serve dinner at the hotel than serve what we got. One goes out to pay!, and eat, so as to get an experience -not that for heaven's sake! I sincerely hope that food was not served to any other customer. I would have had a good impression of the hotel had we not eaten there. We were just glad we didn't get running stomachs.
