I have given two points only because the guy on the front desk at check out was extremely helpful, otherwise I may of given only one. The food at breakfast was not what you would expect from Mercure. The hot food (rice porridge) was cold and the cold food(fruit) was room temp. It was so bad my daughter would not eat there after the first visit to breakfast. I stuck to warm Danish and coffee.

Lovely room and tasty breakfast at this property. Staff are friendly and helpful and cleaning crew works hard to keep the place spotless. I took off a star as the location is not ideal for sightseeing or having a good variety of eateries nearby. KL hotel prices have gone up since our last visit and this met our budgetary needs.

Tasteful decor!

Pool isnt as big as it appears in the pics; $20 visitor fee wasnt explicitly stated during the booking stage, nor during any of our email exchanges. Location requires 5-10 min walk to the bigger malls. But will recommend this hotel as its value for $$, tasteful room decor & prompt service.

Overall it's really worth it

I really enjoy my stay at all Mercure Hotel and I chose this hotel during CNY. Mercure KL Shaw Parade gave very pleasant stay to me and overall it's really worth it. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Reception counter look so modern and welcoming. I love everything about the room. The room was clean and cozy. The bed is so big and comfy. There are water dispenser and coffee maker in the room. The view from the hotel is so amazing and it surrounded by many skyscrapers. The rooftop pool was ok and lovely. I had a buffet breakfast at the hotel and the food was average. The food not much variety. The table setting and dining area quite compact. However, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommended.

Lovely family friendly hotel

Very comfortable hotel for families in Bukit Bintang. Friendly staff who were always helpful with directions and for arranging taxis and travel arrangements. Breakfasts were a variety of local and international fare, which changed regularly through the week. Hotel has a roof top pool and bar with lovely views of the city. Enjoy the light shows from the nearby office!
