Apart from the bidet hose that was faulty (noted to staff on day of check out), Novotel is certainly the place I will go to each time I am in Taiping. Well mannered and gentle staff. Wee maintained. Good job to the management.

Housekeeping is slow and needs improvement. The team very careless forgot to place towel and respond time to fix the problem is too long which is very irritating.

Centrally located near many eateries and hawker center. Connected to Taiping Mall which has a supermarket. Free parking for house guests. Good room size and nice unblocked view with room facing lake and mountain. Very friendly front desk staffs. A short walk to Taiping Lake Garden for morning exercise. Parking on level 6, driving up the narrow ramp can be a bit tricky for new comer. The parking area near the lift lobby has a strong sewer stench. Housekeeping forgot to clear the trash in the bathroom left behind by previous guest. On another occasion did not provide new towels after taking away the wet towels.
