Everything is good including breakfast and strategic location. But your front desk during my check-in was not so friendly and did not answer my question. Lucklily has her clique to help at that time. Please give more training to her as Novotel branded is a big name in the hotel industry.

Very pleasant stay but could have been more enjoyable. We were in Room 1201. The shower hose had dirty stains and needs to be replaced asap. Also we could hear loud water noise late at night coming from the room upstairs presumably using the bathroom.

Staff are friendly and location is quite accessible .

Entry to carpark is too near to junction and another inner road besides car park entrance. Also on the way up to the Novotel level 6 car park lacks direction and feels creepy. Beds too high and soft. Amenities such as floor lights and bed side lamps not working well. Bathroom walls grouting needs to be clean. Looks yellowish as it needs scrubbing.

Excellent location surrounded by eateries that open from morning till late at night. Taiping Mall is adjoining and even accessible through a doorway in the hotel lobby. This hotel is light, bright and airy. The rooms are adequately spacious with soft comfortable beds, however we couldn’t make out head or tail about the flat pillows Love the rain shower and big bathroom. It is clean. Need to spruce up manpower though. Overall highly recommended.

I book this hotel specifically to relax. First the view is nice if you got the hill view. Second, the bed, my god the bed. Probably the best bed ever haha. I come here to relax and within a few seconds on the bed, I'm already asleep. Then there's the access to the yongtaufu food court of the hotel which is delicious but if the hotel room service is also good , both the taste and the price. Lastly the breakfast serves a variety of food and so worth it for the price we pay. Overall, gonna come back here in the future.

The crew of hotel staffs I met were impressive, courteous, sincere and patient in rendering their services as well as handling questions or requests throughout my stay that I really appreciated it. The hotel location is a plus that is within walking distance to eateries and Taiping Lake Garden. Most of the in-room amenities were functionally good. In-room lighting brightness and air-conditioning coolness have room for improvement. Process of validating car parking ticket at Ground Floor Front-desk for complimentary parking prior to getting car from 6th Floor resulted inconvenience. Overall, thank you Novotel Hotel Taiping.

Location in the town center, which is easy to access, food is good, with variety of items but less of salty taste. Room is limited space. One thing i am not satisfied was the comforter & bed sheet smell bad like it was not replace from the previous guest.

Me and my family are return guests as taiping is my mother’s hometown. unfortunately this was one of my worst experience. state borders were reopened and sop were less strictly emphasised doesn’t mean hotel guests can walk around in the lift and lobby area without masks on. this is not their home! informed your staff yet no action has been done. disappointed!

Overall my stay was pleasant. Clean room. During my stay only that make me unsatisfied is the TV channel is unavailable. Hope that Novotel Taiping always do monthly maintenance and resolve this issue ASAP. Lastly, big thank to Amirul (Front Desk) for helping me to get good rooms.

Poor room arrangement as do not read guest comment or request upon check in; I had arranged my booking a weeks before, this must not happened upon check in. No priority at all for Accor membership. To be improve the professionalism for front-liner.

Poor reception service and room cleanliness

The hotel rooms were booked about a year ago however due to the pandemic we were only able to take a trip to Taiping recently. The staff at reception was unclear of what he was doing, moreover he did not have a welcoming attitude towards us. He was rude in talking and no customer service or whatsoever. There were litters in both rooms when we first entered, ie: plastic wrapping from mineral bottle, tags from clothes,etc. One thing good was the housekeeping girls who after we requested, helped us cleaned the rooms again and vacuumed.

everything was fine, from the check in, parking space, room cleanliness, the amenities and the ambience of the surrounding of taiping city. if there was something to improve was the courtesy and etiquette of a particular waiter in the hotel restaurant…( tried calling the restaurant to review on the incident but couldn’t get the manager) who was rude and questioning us of our choice, and it did spoil the mood for the lunch which i wanted to try their crispy squid , highly recommended. highly recommended as it has a mall next to it, local food court in front of the mall and a good place to jog at the taiping lake garden.
