John P Families - TripAdvisor review

Staying at MGallery was like signing up for a charming French vacation only to find yourself trapped in a parallel universe where nothing makes sense, and everything is controlled by “policy.” But of all the frustrating surprises, the crown jewel of nonsense was this gem: breakfast is not considered dining. Let’s unpack that for a moment. I strolled into breakfast with my trusty AccorPlus dining vouchers in hand, ready to reduce the damage of a pretty standard hotel breakfast: eggs, toast, juice, and a coffee to bring me back to life after a Saturday night of relentless noise. But when I tried to use my vouchers, the front desk kindly informed me that breakfast wasn’t eligible. Why? Because it’s not dining. I had to take a second to make sure I wasn’t still dreaming. Let’s go back to basics: Dining is the act of consuming food at a table, and breakfast is, last time I checked, a meal. But in Accor’s fine-print universe, breakfast apparently exists in its own untouchable category. It’s not a snack, not a casual bite, and certainly not “dining.” It’s a meal suspended in bureaucratic limbo, designed to trip up unsuspecting guests who thought they were getting real value. It’s convenient, isn’t it? Denying vouchers for breakfast, the most common meal for hotel guests, feels less like a policy and more like a carefully calculated move to maximize profits. And they didn’t stop there. I couldn’t use the spa voucher either, because apparently, the spa is outsourced. So, to summarize: my dining vouchers were denied for breakfast, my spa voucher was invalid because the spa wasn’t technically part of the hotel, and I spent the entire stay trying to decode Accor’s fine-print maze instead of relaxing. Adding to the misery was my small, uninspired room, which felt like it had been borrowed from a low-budget motel and crammed into the corner of a supposedly luxurious hotel. The hallways were stifling—the air conditioning had waved the white flag of surrender, leaving me drenched in sweat before I even reached the elevator. And let’s not forget the Saturday night symphony of chaos. I don’t know if MGallery hosts regular street festivals or if I just got lucky, but the noise outside was relentless. The paper-thin walls offered about as much protection as wet tissue paper, and by 3 a.m., I was contemplating going outside and joining the party just to make it through the night. But perhaps the most infuriating part of the experience was the front desk staff—drones, programmed to follow rules without question. When I asked why nothing worked (no breakfast, no spa, no peace), their response was the same every time: “That’s the policy.” No solutions, no flexibility, and certainly no empathy. They could have been replaced with a sign that said “No” and saved everyone the trouble. The only saving grace of this circus was the restaurant and bar staff, who somehow hadn’t been infected by Accor’s policy plague. They were attentive, friendly, and actually seemed to understand that hospitality means making guests feel welcome, not tossing them into a fine-print obstacle course. Every meal they served was excellent, and their service was the one part of the stay that didn’t feel like a battle. In the end, this experience was a lesson in why AccorPlus is a bait-and-switch masterclass. They lure you in with promises of rewards, only to bury those benefits under layers of exclusions and technicalities. If Accor wants to redefine basic concepts like “dining,” they should at least be honest about it: “Breakfast isn’t dining, vouchers don’t work, and it’s your problem, not ours.” For now, they’ve earned their place at the top of my Fine Print Fiends and Clause Cowboys list. Trust me—this is one rodeo you’ll want to avoid. Also rooms small ad the pool area not much better…good job Accor marketing

I'm impressed with the staff as they still remember me even though long time I come back. The concierge staff Mr. Loc supported to deliver my shoes that I left in the hotel to the airport for me. I really appreciated for excellent and extra mile customer service.
