Bathroom was spotless although out side of spa was loose Carpet was stained and dusty Smell of dust with air con on Uncomfortable bed including pillows I had expected the most expensive room/ honeymoon suite to be of a high standard

We were so looking forward to our trip away, but unfortunately we had an incident at Mercure Echuca that completely dampen our mood.. our car was keyed in the car park. We requested CCTV to be forwarded to police for our insurance purposes, and were told it would happen. But we only saw cameras at the entrance to the site. So we were left feeling very unsure and disheartened. We never received feedback or assistance. Please be aware of security if parking your car on site. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although a little dated. The no smoking policy was not adhered to..people often smoking in common areas. No shade at swimming pool.

When checking in I asked about checking in early and advised i thought we have early check in. the staff member then said "oh are you a member" This should be documented and i shouldn't have to tell the staff that i am. I also wanted to pay for all 3 rooms and was advised that i should wait until the guests arrived. My membership entitles to 2 free drinks per room and was advised that the bottled water was only free for my room. Check out is 10am, my daughter had a knock at her door prior to 10 to say house keeping, she advised she would be 5 minutes longer. My son left his room and continued to pack his bag outside. this was at 9.45. Its and insult to knock on a door prior to departure and my Platinum membership is supposed to have 11am check out. I won't be staying at this accommodation in future. they don't value my service or membership.
