The rooms are great with every modern convenience. The service was good. The location could not be better. My only complaint is that the motels in regional Victoria need to start serving breakfast again.

Arrived 12.15pm and as a Platinum member i asked to check in early as i had a meeting at 1.30pm and my family was with me, the Lady in reception can't check in till 2pm in a rude manner, so i asked again and told her i was Platinum member and without even checking the rooms she said again no can't check in till 2pm, disappointing to say the least, will not stay there again.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!! Bad night sleep, Traffic & hoon noises. I thought the Mercure brand was meant to be reasonable, I've stayed at better 2.5 & 3 star independent and chain hotels that were better than this 4 star run down 80's Quality Inn rebadge.. My wife kept rolling out of bed as the side of the bed springs were broken in this bed that I don't think has been replaced since the 80's., Bathroom really could do with a modernisation. If you must stay here, ask for a room at the back of the property as the traffic and hoon noises will keep you awake. Be aware as well that even though it's called Port of Echuca, it's actually closer to the Campaspe river than the Murray which is over the other side of the divided highway and a short walk. There are much better options in town, even for Accor members, keep in mind this venue doesn't have any Accor discounts on their limited dining options. Choose another accommodation venue instead.

We requested and we were very happy with a quiet room, comfortable, plenty of space and well equipped.. Relaxed atmosphere and every one was friendly and helpful. We walked everywhere we wanted to visit on the Echuca side.

Car parking was an issue, not having prescribed parking spots is an issue. Also a decent breakfast room service menu was not available. Sit in restaurant dining at night would be appreciated. - appropriate dine elsewhere deals should be offered in times where you can't provide a proper eat in restaurant. *Discount should be given for not having these normal services available. Traffic noise all hours. Left us sleep deprived.

Horrible bed which felt 20 years old, the noise from the passing road traffic kept me up. May need to consider double glazed windows. The bathroom was so old leading to a feeling of uncleanliness. Wouldn't consider coming back unless I had no other option.

Poor booking experience, sterile check in process, no restaurant for breakfast on site, insufficient parking, very ordinary room (roadside with no insulation from traffic noise all night).... need I go on! The room was overpriced for what it was and the entire experience lacked value of any substance.

The external presentation of the hotel is excellent, inviting and quite pleasant, however the room did not reflect the same. My room was located along the main road. I was surprised of the amount of road traffic noise during the evening. This made falling asleep difficult and even when making phone calls, I needed to walk out of the room. Apart from the bed and the two seater couch and table /chairs, the room felt bare and unwelcoming. Please take these comments as constructive, with a little more décor, and the noise issue, its a great place.
