Television and phones did not even work in the first room (on the first floor next to the main road) allocated to us. Basic amenities like hand towels were not even provided and water leaked from the bath cubicle and bathroom sink the floor whenever any of those were used - and the floor becomes slippery when wet! No bottled water is provided because guests are expected to use the possibly contaminated water dispenser located just beside/between the bathroom sink and toilet bowl! Just one box of tissue (already almost used up) and one small roll of rough toilet paper were provided. Conditions at this hotel have become worse over the years - I can’t believe that this Ibis is supposed to be a 4-star hotel.

Travelling with one child and one toddler, plus multiple pieces of luggage, made this experience extremely frustrating. Upon arrival, our room key card did not work. We went back downstairs to get a replacement card, only to find that the second card also failed. We were then told that a technician would arrive within 3 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes with no sign of anyone, we asked a cleaner for assistance. She kindly contacted someone for us, but we still had to wait another 15 minutes before the technician finally arrived. The technician opened the door and informed us that he would return to fix the issue. After waiting another 30 minutes, nobody came. This effectively meant that if we left the room, we risked being locked out again. I eventually went downstairs to speak with the manager, who arranged for someone to attend within 10 minutes. At that point, we thought the issue had finally been resolved. Unfortunately, the next day, after returning tired and wanting to rest, we found ourselves locked out yet again. Perhaps we were simply unlucky, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. We were not expecting premium service,only a functional room that we could enter and exit without difficulty. Very disappointed with ibis.
