We have been many times and are always impressed. The property is excellent as are all the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again and cannot wait to return. Heated pool is special after a brisk walk along the beach. An excellent adult's retreat.

This is a truly beautiful place to stay, the rooms are generous and luxurious. The Hotel offers so many wonderful and thoughtful touches that support a sense of well being in every way. Stretch & yoga classes, great treatments, tropical gardens etc. The staff are delightful and extremely helpful. I would stay here again.

Our recent stay at the Adult-Only Reef House Palm Cove was, without a doubt, a rejuvenating and unforgettable experience. From the time of arrival to our sad departure we were treated as treasured guests & looking forward to returning. What sets this tropical oasis aside from others is the outstanding service, care & inclusions . From wine tasting , cocktail making , yoga, water aerobics , use of bikes, choice of bed pillows , oil burner that’s lit every morning in your freshly cleaned room , sleep sessions to hand delivered refreshments towels & sorbet pool side, onto nightly punch & canapés & not to forget the wonderful al la carte breakfast on the open verandah with beach views . Everything to make your stay that little more special . We loved everything about our stay & every encounter with staff. All staff were outstanding, service second to none ! They were genuinely helpful & all round beautiful people who made sure we felt so well looked after . The food is devine keeps you coming back for more . The ambience the views & brilliant service & staff it’s truly an experience on its own. Location is right in the middle of main esplanade walking distance to cafes, restaurants & opposite the main beach. If you’re looking to escape from the everyday grind & in need of comfort & quality time out without all the pretentious noise then do yourself a favour . Thank YOU to ALL staff at RH for making our stay truly amazing. For the lovely gifts & for the wonderful spa upgrade. We are truly grateful Nicole & James x

From the moment you walk in the feeling is relaxed, comforting and warm. The staff are amazing without being on top of you all day. Although parts of the premises are a little tired the service is six star. No shiny marble and large foyers here, just a welcoming feel. Fantastic for a short break, restaurant ambiance, service and food are excellent. We'll be back!

Our colonial style boutique retreat for adults was originally built in 1958 as a private residence. 66 years later it still has its beautiful cachet and also has the best beachfront location in splendid Palm Cove! Enjoy old world charm & outstanding service at the Reef House

From the moment we arrived at the Reef house & were welcomed with a friendly face at reception & a drink with local Devils Thumb rainforest gin we knew we were in for a very special stay! Our verandah room was spacious & very comfortable with king size bed, oil burner, included teas, coffee machine with pods, welcome bottle of sparkling wine, gifts to take home of Reef House book sharing the history of this wonderful place & caps Breakfast on the front deck overlooking the Coral sea with a la carte menu and daily freshly squeezed juice was a great way to start the day. The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was amazing. Around the tranquility & mineral pools the cold towels at 11am were a welcome refresher and the sorbet at 3pm was always delicious. Being an adults only resort it was very relaxing and peaceful around the pools. We enjoyed the included activities, the "wine appreciation" was good with 3 full glasses of Prosecco, Chardonnay & Pinot noir, the Mixology class with Pepe from Sicily was a lot of fun with us each having a cocktail set to make our own gimlet & old fashioned cocktails. The daily punch & canapes in the Brigadier's Bar at 5pm was a lovely way to meet the other guests - we particularly liked the crispy Barramundi with Chipotle sauce! Our included 3 course dinner was sublime- the eye fillet & truffle mash was delicious. I enjoyed a facial & massage in the spa with my included voucher. The reef talk with Dr Glen Burns was informal & informative. He gave us such a great insight into the conservation of the reef. The staff, from so many different countries (lovely to see the different flags on their name badges), were very friendly and it was evident that they thoroughly enjoyed their work. Such a credit to the management to have such a friendly & enjoyable work culture. It was something a lot of us guests noticed and commented on. We were sad to leave and wished we could have stayed longer than our 4 night stay. We are already talking about coming back next year! We cannot recommend the Reef House highly enough. It is such a charming, welcoming, unique resort, more like a home than a hotel with the most amazing staff, outstanding service & so many inclusions that you can't help falling in love with the place. We certainly did! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!
