Very disappointed with hotel service because the in house guest is high but the staff is very less. Specially when breakfast time it is very crowded. Please the hotel manager and restaurant manager to evaluate if the in house guest high consider about the total staff to serve the in house guest.

Felt very welcome as an Accor member. I received welcome drinks and was offered a room upgrade. The room with plunge pool was super cozy. I love that I could take a quick dip on a sunny day with no effort at all. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious. The hotel itself is good and has complete facilities and recreational offers. The a la carte menu selection at the restaurant was a let down, but the food itself was good. Overall, good stay! I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Need proper maintenance for the property, but good service from the team was perfect

Awesome services from the team, start from the check in process with Mr. En****e Then helps from the manager for assisting our “not cold” air-con at our rooms. Overall very good services as usual, but property need proper maintenance in order to provide perfect comfort as a 5 star hotel.

Sofitel bali used to be our fav hotel but we were dissapointed from our last stay. Service level was bad especially in restos and activities area, beach was boring with too much corals and rocks. We stayed 2 nights at prestige suite for wedding anniversary, and there were an event and we were surrounded by rooms of groups below and above our rooms. They made noisy sounds until late night and it was so disturbing! The pool was so cloudy, bfast was bland. Nothing special with the hotel.

Upon our arrival, we were not getting a warm welcome. The front desk staff didn’t greet us with smile, the check in process was also longer than we expected. After finally checking in our room, we notice that there’s no body lotion in the bathroom. We called the guest service and they said it was provided by request, so we ordered one. After 2 hours, noone showed up to deliver it. We called again and wait. But we didn’t get it until we checked out. The slipper that is provided in room also too thin and poor quality. The breakfast was just okay, not a special one. We tried SoSpa, it was great and meet our expectation. Overall, we were not really happy with our stay and with 190 usd per night, there are many hotels in Bali which can offer better facilities and service (even with lower price).

It takes more than an hour to get our room, ac not working in gym and kids club.long queue in breakfast,food running out.not enough staff.Poor and limited choices of food,very uncharacteristic of a 5 star hotel.

I stayed at sofitel from 9-15 March, for the first 2 days, i booked "The 7 Gifts of Heaven", because my wife birthday it's on 10 March, and then they have the "Magnifique Nyepi Offer" (Stay 4 pay 2),so i also booked that offer, eventhough i have free 2 nights to stay that i haven't used yet, when i'm arrived i can see there is not so many employees, no vallet, even i wait for the concierge to help me with the stuff eventhough he was there, so for the first 2 days we got upgrade to honeymoon suites, very nice and thank you for that, but the funny things, we found out there's a couple got villa even they are not ALL platinum member, so out of curiosity my wife asked how come they have villa, while we don't? oh by the way I'm ALL Platinum Member, and the answer is because the just opened some rooms, so if it's full, they give villa, so we are asking if we can move to villa, and on the third day, they give us villa, and thank you for that, now my story is a week before i arrived at Bali, i already contacted through whatsapp asking if there possible to have a surprise cake for my wife on 10 march, and they said later you can ask the Guest relation at the hotel, and when i arrived on 9th March, there is no Guest Relation, so i ask again through whatsapp on 5.30 pm, that they didn't respond, and the reply on 10 march 6.12 am, and said their pastry is closed and they didn't have any cakes available, and i said that it's better if you just told me from the first time i ask that you can't provide it, so i can buy from bakery outside the hotel, now on the day that my wife birthday you said that it's not available,actually i didn't want to bring this up, but what makes me dissapointed is on 13rd march the hotel was full because the "Magnifique Nyepi Offer", very crowded, and i saw on the Sofitel Nusa Dua Instagram there is 2 person get wine, so i'm curious, so i asked when i'm checked out, why they get wine? actually i already guess what she gonna said, you know what she said? "oow they are Platinum Member", so i said i'm also a Platinum Member, and i can see those two become nervous, and they said or maybe they are manager of Accor or have position, and i said it's impposible, because i check their instagram, they even booked their stay through travel agent! and i give her the screeshot one of the person that there is a letter hand writing said sorry about something, this is what makes me dissapointed, i still have something to write, but it's full

Since its opening in December 2013, I stayed so many times there. Love their luxury rooms, its ambience and their hospitality. During this Covid-19 pandemic, I stayed 3 times there and always felt safe and confident, because they strictly follow the safety protocol to prevent the virus spreading. Saw staffs keep sweeping the floor with disinfectant everymoment. Surgical Masks and hand disinfectant are now become ones of the amenities.

Even though the breakfast served with a la carte and limited menu (cause of pandemic season), but they taste sooo great! And thanks for the free upgrade for my room, very nice of you. And the room is beautiful and well-equipped. Their staffs are so nice and helpful. And you know what, they have their own "garden" (such as eggplants, chili etc), so nice to see the gardener harvesting the eggplants in the morning. Wonderful experience staying in Sofitel Nusa Dua, wish u all the best.

A staycation during a pandemic is an advantage in itself, for example the swimming pool is quiet so it feels safer. direct access to the beach, we can cycle along the beach, very comfortable and clean rooms.

Wifi wasnt work for 1day. 3. Room service and hotel information wasnt their. So.i was very confuse what is going on this hotel. Any promotion for F&B or any activities? I was forced to go and call for manager 3times. 4. Lounge. No Alcoholic Beverage. Food was limited served. And cold & not yum Very different with last time. 5. All the advantage as a member of Accor wasnt available or very little. What i felt was un-welcomed. And they are more focus on celebrities or influencers. Well. I am just normal member. So maybe is that my fault that i am not famous?🤷‍♀️ 6. Check in & check out. Check in : They were asked me to wait and they will call my name. Well. I was waiting and watching all the guest was cutting the line and checked in!! I was asking when are u going to call me? And they said who are u. (What the...) not only me. There were other guest who was waiting for 1 hour. When I checked out,, they were charging that i dont use. I never asked and use the laundry service. But they said i did. Well I asked them so check the sign and show me. Well there was no! The counter seemed that I was lying. Holy!!! Why should i pay such amount and ruined my new year holiday? My family decided not to come back this hotel. And ofcourse i already share my experience to my friends. I am so sorry but. I DONT FEEL ANY WELCOME IN THIS HOTEL. PLUS. In the past this hotel was fantastic and I stayed here whenever I visited Bali especially as I’m a platinum member. However now I will not be recommending it for the following reasons: Upgrade was not offered even though on the Accor website rooms were available and on property itself you could see that there were suite rooms available. I also enquired a few days before my arrival with the reservation agent about the upgrade. At check-in after much insistence we were only given a one night upgrade. This was odd as we are usually upgraded for the full stay when there is availability. We stayed during a non peak period and there were plenty of rooms available. The previous dedicated lounge and service have been removed. Now only non alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee served from the bar. All the premium teas have been replaced with low cost alternatives. The welcome drink coupon was not valid for any alcoholic drinks which is unusual for an Accor hotel however on the coupon it stated that alcohol should be consumed responsibly. There were no welcome fuits or snacks in our room upon arrival which used to be standard. The amenities in the room were totally below standard. The food was very disappointing. Breakfast food choices are equal to a 2 star hotel buffet. A far cry from what we experienced on our previous visits. Our rate included dinner which we only had for one night as the food was really bad. We were totally disappointed as we paid a premium price in comparison to other hotels in Bali and what we experienced was what we would expect from a hotel at a third of the price let alone not honouring the benefits of platinum Accor membership.

I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and really love everything this hotel had to offer - from the excellent service to the spacious room. The room I booked had a very nice view of the ocean, so I'm glad I got to enjoy the beautiful view everyday. I also enjoyed the breakfast served - there are various menu to choose from. I mean, who doesn't love a hearty breakfast by the beach? Thank you for the warm hospitality, can't wait to be back again soon!

I pretty much enjoyed my stay at Sofitel. It was quiet, the ambience was relaxing. I enjoyed having lunch at the pool bar although the menu was not really interesting. I had brunch voucher, but since brunch was not available yet, I was offered 3-courses dinner instead, which was more than enough, however, again the menu was still the same menu I saw during lunch, not much options. It was a bit creepy at night when I walked through the hallway to my room since the lamp was off at the other side and no sound at all (you may want to set some songs around). I checked out early in the morning to catch my speed boat schedule, but there was no one at the front desk by the time I rushed there. I had to call someone at the front lobby first. But overall it was nice, limited menu was understandable during this hard time. Thank you, Sofitel.

Disappointing Stay, under services

This is our 4th time staying at this Resort. To put everything into perspective, We've been staying in many Hotels (Accor and Non Accor Hotels) during this pandemic period. As compare to other hotels, I would say this is one of worst experience. First, during check in. A day before we called the hotel asking for early check in around 12 noon (not so early actually) and yet we had to wait for 1.5 hours as the room was not ready yet... well that can be fully occupied as the hotel only opened 1 tower (out of 5 towers in total) during our stay. The FO lady who greet us during the check in was definitely not familiar about Platinum member benefits, it seem that she's new (later we found out that she's from back office not real "reception" staff). Don't get me wrong, she's nice and polite, but you can tell that reception is not her expertise. Apparently during this pandemic, this hotel "utilise" their back office (admin) team to take care of some reception and other functions as well. nothing wrong and totally understand the policy as long as they can maintain they standard, which for my case, they failed to do so. Next, The Millesime Lounge was closed during this period, as compensation they offer "free drink only" at the lobby lounge. No snack or food offered (while other hotels still offer snacks or light meal, in some hotels even offer full course meals as compensation of Lounge closure). And the worst part was the restaurant. The menu options were so so limited. Especially for the breakfast. I feel that I had breakfast on 3* hotel (for the menu options and quality, sorry to say). Can you imagine for Sofitel brand, they didn’t even have pastries and croissants for the breakfast?? Totally understand about the current condition, but they also need to see and compare how other hotels are offering during this time. Especially if they compare to their sister group company (same property owner) Pullman Vimala Hills Ciawi, they keep their 5* standard all the way from early of the pandemic till today. However, in terms of the Resort facilities (room, pools, etc) they keep well maintained. Pools are still nice (one of the best pool in Bali) and clean. In overall, this time our stay was disappointing and below expectation for 5* Resort and Sofitel Brand.

Lack of Platinum Services

There was no greeting cake as platinum services. I also found a centipede in my room. There was no TV services and the phone line was cut off. I stayed for 6 nights and there was no immediate response from the manager.

Very unlikely soifitel class of my last stay ... I know this pandemi time but sofitel should have minimum standards. Quite disappointment but try to accept this difficult time to stay happy and content.

We stayed during pandemic, Sept 2020, we know it IS pandemic, but this hotel spare no expense. We felt safe because i see it with my eyes how they preserved the cleanliness, with their own team, they cleaned thoroughly the sink in the public bathroom. Checking in is a breeze, the hotels feels still well maintained despite pandemic, breakfast is excellent, they bring breakfast to our villa and it is quite generous in portion. The villa itself is amazing, abundant in amenities, they spare no expense in service. Anything you need, they provided in a flash. We asked for bicycle, not more than 10 min it is outside our gate, we asked for buggy, not more than 10 min it is already ready. So, sometimes i wonder, there MUSTbe something to distinguish 5 star hotel with the other, because i had stayed in other 5 star hotel too, accor or other brand, and i feel okay, but not WOW. Sofitel didn't dissapoint, we stayed at So Sofitel, and Sofitel Sentosa, and they all have a same standard. So in general, i think Sofitel should have a 9 star. Because it IS different from other 5 stars hotel.
