Exceptional Service from Yuka – A True Gem at Novotel Nusa Dua!

From the moment my husband and I arrived at Novotel Nusa Dua, we were impressed by the beautiful setting and warm welcome from staff—but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service we received from Yuka. Yuka consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. What really stood out was how genuine and thoughtful he was. He remembered little things we mentioned, such as our ‘regular’ cocktail order, and always checked in to see how our day was going or to make conversation while serving our food and drinks. You can tell he really cares about the guests and takes pride in what he does. He made us feel valued as guests. Yuka is a true asset to the Novotel team, and his dedication to excellent service made our stay incredibly special. We left with full hearts and fond memories, largely thanks to him. If you’re staying at Novotel Nusa Dua, I hope you get the chance to meet Yuka—you’ll be in the best hands!

one of our best stays, great food , great staff, excellent coffee, did not want to go home, the resort has been refurbished, new management, which is so evident, hotel has excellent facilities, and amazing gardens, the pool area is great

Terrible handling of guest complaints by the manager—completely unprofessional and unacceptable!

We booked a suite with two bedrooms and instead received a poorly cleaned room—Room 1208! The bed sheets were stained, the hot water in the bathroom barely worked (only one minute of hot water before it turned cold again), and the air conditioning was useless—even when set to 16°C, the room was still warm. We had to demand new sheets right away! We reported all of this to the morning male receptionist and asked to be moved to a new room. We were told the new room wasn’t ready and needed to be cleaned. So we let them know we’d be out for a while and might return around 11 a.m. When we got back in the afternoon, we found a letter saying the new room would be ready by 14:00. But when we followed up to pack the luggage, the female receptionist and the so-called Guest Service Manager had the nerve to tell us we were too late—and that there was no room available anymore at the time. Their excuse? They couldn't reach us because I didn’t have WhatsApp—even though they had my email. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed us, their paying guests! So, if we had come back “on time,” we might’ve gotten a better room—and probably our broken room to free it up for the next unlucky guest. Their final solution? A cooler fan set up in our room. What an absolute joke. Not a single manager had to come and apologize in person. We paid good money for poor service and awful accommodation. Total failure in customer care and professionalism. Shame on Novotel and Accor! It’s honestly pathetic—especially considering my sister is a Gold member and my husband is Diamond. If they had been with me, would we have been treated better just because of status? Is that what VIP care means now? I’m sending a formal complaint to Accor Customer Care. This experience was beyond disappointing—it was infuriating and disgraceful.

Your feedback regarding the unprofessional handling of the situation by our team is taken very seriously, and we are currently reviewing this internally to ensure accountability and better training to avoid such situations in the future. It is especially concerning that you felt disregarded as a valued guest. We aim to treat every guest with the utmost respect and care, regardless of loyalty status, and it pains us to know that you felt otherwise. Please know that your feedback has been shared with our senior management team for a full review, and we are committed to taking meaningful steps to improve. We genuinely hope you will accept our heartfelt apologies for this regrettable experience. Super service By Joni in the beach club.. Very satisfied.. Weather was pleasant, we could fly kite easily and my daughter enjoyed thru out.. Sand is soft. Some areas had a lot of seashells. But still superb. Will surely come back here. Once again, Thank you
