1 Bedroom apartment is old

Apartment is old, tear and wear in the kitchen and bathroom. A shower in a bath tub is always not a good bath. Water provided tasted weird and made us go to toilet quite often. Lobby is very humid. Food is just ok. The massage was not great, it was mistake on our part we did it in the last hour. The lady did not have enough energy anymore lol. Linen does not smell good in the massage room.

Our stay at the hotel was generally a positive experience. The staff are the resorts greatest asset and are super friendly and always helpful. The grounds are immaculately maintained as is the pool and the public areas. But the accommodation is very tired. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The bed was comfortable as was the other furniture. Unfortunately the doors don't close properly and constantly bang during the night. The kitchen was a bit ramshackle with rickety doors, drawers and recycling bin. The bathroom has a shower/ bath that has seen better days. A bit dangerous for both the old ( me) and the young ( my grandkids). The taps need replacement and go roundand round and there are rust stains. The shampoo dispenser was broken and the water oressure non existent. The toilet needs a proper clean as there is crusted urine at the back. So pros and cons, but the rooms definitely need a revamp to claim their current rating.

Beautiful hotel, good location, but poor service

The room has a decent size and is clean. Pool is nice and large. Breakfast is decent, though it lacks of variety. Location is good, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Their private beach club is just 10-min walk and can also be reached by their shuttle service that drives there and vice-versa every 15 minutes. However, the staff were disappointing. They could have been friendlier, more helpful and more knowledgeable. The staff in blue shirt seemed untrained and avoid any contact with guests; no greetings, no smile. The receptionists are often unaware and neglecting to show hospitality when the guests show up at the front desk and ask for assistance. I stayed at the one-bedroom suite for three nights and had an issue with the room key since day one. Every single time I left the room, they key card just didn't work anymore and I had to ask them either to provide a new key card or to help me open the door. The receptionists were aware of the issue since day one, however, they offered to check and fix the door lock on the last day of my stay. Welcome drink was served at the pool bar and it took ages for them to serve it. Hygienic rule at the restaurant needs to be improved. I saw the staff didn't clean the table properly. The beach club is not so bad, but the beach area is very small and there are very few palm trees which barely provide any shade. Though they provide beach umbrellas, under certain weather conditions (like during my stay) you can't use the umbrellas. So you will have no protection from the sun and the rain. For the price you pay, it's hard to recommend this hotel. However, it is still a nice hotel. If you are traveling to Bali and you will most likely spend a lot of time outside the hotel, this could be a good option as none of those small issues would matter to you. Or if you are traveling with kids, this property could be perfect for you as they have a nice kids club, kids pool, and even kids garden. Otherwise, you might want to consider other hotels in Nusa Dua area that can offer better accommodation, better beach area and facilities, and most importantly better customer service, for the same price range.

Lovely place to stay

Recently stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments from December 26th to January 3rd. Upon our late night/early morning arrival we didn't receive any refreshments or face towel/cloth as has been my experience at other hotels in Nusa Dua, otherwise I was impressed with decor and furnishing of the lobby. The grounds are well kept, albeit some of the fitting are aging and could do with a refresh/new paint. My initial impression of the two bedroom villa was that it is quite spacious and well appointed with an open space lounge/dining and kitchen area. The main bedroom had a double bed with an ensuite and down a short passage to the second bathroom and bedroom with two single beds. While I do still think the room was great there were little things that could be refreshed such as one of the cushions on our sofa had a broken zipper so the cover was loose and untidy when sat on. The ensuite toilet was leaking after flushing so we had to ask maintenance to fix it. My daughter was trapped in the ensuite bathroom for 15-20 minutes on night because the lock malfunctioned and they maintenance crew had to break the door frame to get her out. Some little fixtures and fittings could have used a clean/refresh like the second bathroom sink plug is loose and doesn't operate properly with the lever that should open and close the sink plug. The bath in the ensuite had the same issue, it was stuck. During our stay the staff were beautiful, while masked they greeted you while out and about, you can still see the smile through their eyes. Pool was nice, could have used a few more lounges and more than two main entrances would have been handy, other wise it's a trek around to get to one of the entrances from each side. In the centre of the grounds there is the main restaurant and off to it's left is the smaller bar. Breakfast was included in our package and was fantastic each morning. Get down there early to avoid the buisier peak time of 8.30 am to 10.00 am. I would like to extend my thanks to the Restaurant Manager, Gusti, who made sure to introduce himself to us and would check in and great us each morning of our stay. The last 2-3 days of our stay I wasn't feeling the best and he was very quick to offer his services and checked multiple times if there was anything he could do to help, Thanks Gusti! There is a small bus that can take you down the Beach Club, food and drink is available and the staff there are also fantastic, lovely gentlemen. Plenty our lounges with umbrellas to relax the day away. Other guests at the hotel were pleasant, no issues at all and thankfully no early morning pool-lounge-reservation-wars! Most certainly would love to make it back to Nusa Dua and stay here again, loved it and was sad to leave.

Nice but below expectation

I'm an avid traveller and stay at all kinds of properties.. As an accor member I've stayed at multiple properties in Hua Hin, Bangkok , Vietnam, Delhi etc in the recent few months.. with almost all good experiences.. Coming to this property.. 1. The pool villa is very good, very well made.. overall great.. 2. The deluxe rooms are average.. the room and bathrooms are the same size which doesn't make sense.. We were not given rooms together despite informing the hotel and requesting earlier.. The rooms charging points next to bed is complicated.. There is a termite issue in the room.. There is a lizard in one of our rooms.. Over all cleaning was not that great.. The service is good but slow.. probably due to peak season.. The quality of resort overall is good, staff and team response also is there but these little things and adjustments are making it less good for us.. Overall not as expected..
