Modern and newly refurbished hotel overlooking St. Andrew’s Square. Restaurant and bar on site. Safe and walkable to train station, restaurants, shopping, Scottish National Portrait Gallery. The hop-on-hop-off buses are across the street. A truly sustainable hotel that cares about its imprint on the environment. Breakfast has lots of options. A room with a balcony was lovely for us. Very clean. Excellent staff! Thanks Zoltan for sharing your knowledge of whisky with my husband. We loved our stay here! Highly recommended.

The hotel is conveniently located just off St Andrew’s Square and is a short walk from the main bust terminus and the tram line. It is close to the main shops in New Town and a comfortable walk to Old Town (Castle etc). The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and quiet (with one exception) and the include breakfast was very good.

I had a lovely stay that was greatly assisted by the help of the reception staff. Aiden and Tatiana were so helpful and went out of their way to make sure my overnight was enjoyable. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to be back in the future.

Have stayed many times at this hotel and never been disappointed, clean,modern and all the staff are great. We normally book a top floor room (the works they’re called) you get a corner balcony with beautiful views across Edinburgh, sit and take it all in with your coffee in the morning…. weather permitting !!!
