Although It is not a whole brand new hotel but you could feel that all the staff are working dedicated to to present its best quality of service, nice authentic Indonesian breakfast, nice swimming pool and gym , staff were all polite with great smile, the front desk clerk Puteri was very friendly to assist for my inquiry to stay at the pool side after checking out to wait for the driver to pick -up & sent to the airport which had made my intensive business trip schedule easier, I would definitely like to stay here again next time if I visited Surabaya again.

Bad Restaurant Experience

The room was fine, but the restaurant was a huge disappointment. The main courses started fine - also with some hiccups but we can overlook them, then we ordered dessert: the Green Tea cake and the Coconut cake. No one bothered to clean up the table, and when we asked for several times, someone came to clean up and left 1 single dish back!? We asked why and the answer was simple “Yes.” And no action was taken. Eventually when we asked for the 4-5th time, someone came to clean up that last dish but then left the dirty table papers. Dessert was late for 30-40 minutes without any explanation, and when it came it was dreadful. The tea cake doesn’t have any tea taste, and the coconut cake also doesn’t have any coconut taste. The tea cake was still frozen to boot. The rosemary for decoration turned black. We then ask for the bill, and till then we just received a sorry. We have serious question about the professionalism of the staff as well as the quality of the chef.
