Party event at the Gold Penthouse, perfect in every way

I have just returned from a three night stay at The Como Hotel, South Yarra, where I hosted a significant birthday event over two nights in the Gold Suite. The first event was for family and the second was for friends. The amazing staff at The Como looked after us in every way and ensured all guests at the separate events were well looked after. The catering was superb, a selection of canapes that were not your standard variety, all fresh and delicious. Drinks were provided and full transparency of the amount consumed was provided. The function space downstairs, complete with the Grand piano and small terrace was unique and yet the upstairs bedroom and bathroom was a private sanctuary. I could not have been happier with how my birthday went and all my guests were terribly impressed. Thank you Maya , Allira DJay and the rest of the amazing teams F&B, Front Office at The Como, South Yarra

Big thanks to Jenna and the team at the Como Melbourne. Just back in Sydney after a wonderful weekend and stay at the Como. The check in and welcome was seamless and super professional, along with the delicious welcome drink. Our room was gorgeous and well appointed with everything we needed and more. The bath tub in the room was seriously next level, you have to see it to know what I mean. During our stay we had room service breakfast and dinner, both of which arrived promptly and were beautifully prepared. We also dined in the restaurant for breakfast which was superb. The room also had a perfect work space with fast internet which was perfect to finish work meetings when we arrived. The hotel pool which is indoors (but has a retractable roof for sunny days) was the perfect temperature. The gym also well equipped and super clean. Great also to see a hotel still very focused on cleanliness and hygiene post pandemic. Everything from the arrival, the lovely scent in the lobby, through to the accommodation, food and beverage, facilities and luxury bed exceeded our expectations. Big thanks to Jenna and the team again for making our stay so memorable. You and the team really make the hotel feel like a luxury home away from home. See you again soon.

This place is gorgeous. Large rooms and bathrooms with everything you need being supplied.The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. I’m just disappointed I could stay longer and enjoy it some more. I Will definitely return as it’s a great location for a weekend away.

Great hotel well positioned with spacious rooms. Hotel and rooms are really clean and I found the bed and pillows really comfortable. Bathroom was large spacious design could have been slightly better with only one basin and very little vanity space. No real room views but I guess you’re in the city. Worth a visit.

Gets it right every time

The Como just gets it right. I stay here frequently for business and I must say Accor's frequent stayer program is the best. This hotel always recognises my status, I love my free drink voucher which I use to get a coffee in the morning. The rooms are quiet, large and clean. Location is excellent and sometimes I get upgraded, the rooms with little outdoor courtyards are amazing.
