Great location. Breakfast was also very good. Bed nice and comfortable but room very small and bathroom very, very small!

Gluten bread mixed with normal bread (crossed contamination). When asked the a staff woman, they said “that is what we have” and turned away. One day, by mistake, we entered the breakfast room a bit early. The waitress asked us if “we don’t know reading because the schedule is in the door”. Super nice woman (irony). The shower is horrible, you wet the entire bathroom. Unconfortable beds. No plugs on both sides of bed. The unique nice personal are the ones from the reception.

Lovely friendly welcome, in a centrally convenient location in the centre of Stockholm, right by Odenplan railway and metro station. Stayed in room 304, which at first appeared very grand with its high ceilings, however during my stay, I noticed quite a few things that were less than what I would expect from an Ibis Styles hotel. I appreciate the hotel is made up of several buildings and is also quite old, however the amount of visible cabling running all around the room looked tatty and untidy. The light switch by the entrance door was cracked, I was also unsure why there had been two plug sockets placed by the entrance door too, could not see any use for those. The woodwork within the room, including the skirting, door frames and table in front of the TV looked very worn, with a lot of the paintwork chipped away. Underneath the TV, three appliances fought for only two plug sockets, the mini fridge, kettle and TV. I also noticed some very strange-looking plug sockets, types that would not fit any kind of plug. stayed during hot weather, between 25-29c and was sad to see no air condition or ventilation, which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep for my visit. I could see the new carpeting and headboard and extra paneling had been installed as a quick fix to modernise the room, but feel the whole room could be gutted and started again to a much better standard. Was very thankful I didn't stay in room 301, as I noticed that their WC and shower were in separate rooms located on the other side of the hallway, something like that would have made me cancel my reservation and find another hotel to stay at. The breakfast serviced was lovely, full of both hot and cold options, as well as continually replenished, however the setup felt upside down. Located in the basement, split into two separate areas divided by a wall, however the overflow seating was upstairs in a beautiful airy large room, filled with morning sunshine. I can't help but feel this is where breakfast should be based, and the basement used as an overflow for extra seating.
