We are from Sydney, Australia. We have stayed in Novotel Istanbul Bosphorus on numerous occasions during our vacations spanning the period 2022 to 2024. We kept on going back after the first occasion as we have been very happy with them in general. The rooms are well thought out, bedding have always been most comfortable and nice food/beverages were always readily available. It has very fine services and amenities and has very friendly, helpful, courteous and informative staff. In all our interactions with the staff, they have conducted themselves with utmost professionality, they were always very attentive and have always provided impeccable service. We are forever grateful to them for all that they have afforded to us and sincerely thank all concerned. We cannot praise them enough. Furthermore, the hotel is most conveniently located for easy access to many restaurants, entertainment venues, shopping and for other enhanced lifestyle type activities.

Nice hotel, Good location, great breakfast, helpful staff.

Nice hotel in a great location, close to the waterfront. Fantastic breakfast room overlooking the water and great options Great selection of fresh food. However I would make a note of the fact that eggs Benedict were available during breakfast time but not until 08:00 more or less, so if you were there early - the eggs Benedict were not available which was a real shame. The room was nice, very clean, Tea coffee, mini bar. Safe. Nice shower. However the toiletries are impossible to get out of dispensers, because they are positioned too high on the wall and too thick for the dispenser - if you are short, it’s hard work trying to get shampoo or conditioner for your hair. I spoke to the housekeeping staff and they gave me containers that were not fixed to the wall and this made a big difference for me. This is a 5 star hotel - yet there are no spoons with the cups - just wooden sticks…! I,don’t understand that…! I couldn’t find the menu for room service anywhere- had to go to reception to ask - there is no concierge. The information about the hotel is all online but on your phone , it’s quite difficult to read…! I booked 6 nights bed and breakfast, and I was disappointed that they didn’t give me a room facing the water, it would have been a nice gesture for a guest staying for 6 nights. One morning at breakfast there was a dog in the restaurant, I just couldn’t believe it that a dog is allowed in an enclosed area where others were eating. The dog was tied to a chair and tripping up the waiting staff as they cleared the tables, the owner was feeding the dog food from the table,and at times the dog was sitting on her lap with its head and paws on the table. What about food hygiene and health and safety rules…?

Excellent location and unbeatable roof terrace breakfast

The location is centered around many popular attractions and walking distance to the port. Bring your phone or camera along to capture the beautiful sunrise whilst enjoying your breakfast at the rooftop terrace restaurant. Nice view and good food! Room is standard size. Some lower level rooms may get the noise from the back alley streets that have bars and restaurants operating till 2am. There are also a lot of good food options around 10 mins walking distance of this hotel so you will be spoilt for choices!

Me and my sister stayed in Novotel Istanbul for 5 days in October 2024. It was fantastic. The emplacement is great. Near to everything, shops, restaurants and not far away of Galata Tower or the Misri Bazar. Housekeeping people are just marvellous. Special thanks to the Chef (breakfast) to Serkan and to Mehmet (excelent and cheerful) and to Hassan (our translator). Our stay wouldnt' be the same without them. We felt like being at home, with Serkan who prepares excellent pancakes and omlette, to Mehmet who knows exactly what we will take and to Hassan who facilitates our conversation. Be back soon for sure.
