This is a great hotel, the staff are excellent, Iveta on reception gave us a very warm welcome. The rooms were clean had everything we needed and very quiet. Had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent and catered for everyone and a great choice of food. Would recommend staying here, we will be back.

My wife and I had a 3 night stay at the Mercure Great Danes Hotel and this is what we thought: Pro: Firstly, a great location for visits to Leeds Castle (A 10 minute walk to the Castle ticket office) and also a visit to Sissington gardens – 30 minute drive away. Secondly the staff particularly Iveta and colleagues were exceptionally well informed, efficient and welcoming. Ante: The “Brassiere” evening meal was very poor – it’s not surprising the restaurant was virtually empty but at least the nearby “Windmill” gastro pub and the excellent “Fish on the Green” in Bearsted were excellent substitutes.

I booked in fairly late (8pm). Iveta was very welcoming and answered all my queries and was supremely professional throughout. She sorted out a takeaway breakfast as myself and my colleague were leaving before breakfast began. Iveta is a breath of fresh air and a credit to the hotel. Amazing service.

A great experience being away from home

I started my stay at the Hotel 27th May and was here for 4 weeks Mon-Thurs,from the moment that I checked into the Hotel I was greeted with a smile and a friendly approach. I was allocated a lovely room which was very spacious and had all of the facilities in it,I was also given a tour of the facilities restauarant,fitness area and the lovely garden area to a relax or walk after the day had finished.The reception staff could not be more accommodating for me, I asked for the same room for the duration of my stay and this was facilitated without any problems.Vella on reception was very helpful when there was an issue with my parking along with Steve and Poppy and Zoe.I thank you for this.Throughout my stay the food was very reasonably priced and of a high standard and the restaurant staff also accomodated dietry needs.I am grateful for the service and the extra mile they went to make my stay away from my nhome for the 4 weeks fabulous and would highly recommend this to all if in this area,my work colleagues have now also booked here for the foreseable future due to my experience.Thankyou all again guys.
