Awful room and customer service

We arrived late due to traffic and delays in departures. So we were already quite tired. Didn't notice until we were back from dinner there were stains on EVERYTHING, holes in the bedsheets and a stain on the pillow I slept on which wasn't noticed until the morning. We didn't make the hotel aware as we had a couple suitcases to unpacked and were on staying 2 more nights. At breakfast, which was extra, other guests were piling their dirty plates on our table whilst we were still eating. Food was mislabelled so I could not eat anything there. When we asked the guests not to do that they said "Sorry, no English!" Then walked off laughing. After our stay we sent an email to the hotel with photos and they've dismissed my concerns. I paid £500 for this hotel stay! For a better room and breakfast for my partners birthday. The view was lovely, the room was not. They offered points for my ALL account, to which I have asked if I didn't have an ALL account what would they offer? To which I have been ignored. They also took 10 days to respond. Looking at these other concerns, it doesn't look like we'll get any money back given the circumstances.

Vomit on carpet

Terrible experience! Our room had vomit on the carpet which had not been cleaned properly. Management dismissed our concerns and could not offer us anything for our inconvenience as we didn't notice this until later in the day, after we had been walking in the vomit. The room smelt and the staffs attitude was awful.

I would like to take this opportunity to clarify some of the details regarding the issue you encountered. The odour reported in the room was never formally identified as vomit or directly linked to a lack of cleaning, and upon inspection by our team, no visible signs of such were found. While we fully acknowledge that an unpleasant smell was present later in the evening, this concern was not raised at the time of check-in around 1:00 PM, nor was it detected by our housekeeping team earlier in the day. This timing suggests that the issue had not yet manifested and, unfortunately, could not have been reasonably foreseen by either our team or yourselves at the time of arrival. Our Front Office Manager personally visited the room to offer support and brought a spray as a temporary measure while attempting to locate the source of the odour together with you. This was never intended as a final solution but rather an immediate gesture to address the discomfort while further options were being considered. We are sincerely sorry that this situation left you feeling dismissed — that was certainly not our intention. While we understand that this experience caused frustration, our team did make every effort to respond with genuine concern and assistance once the issue was brought to our attention. The matter has been raised internally and with our maintenance team, who are continuing to investigate to prevent future recurrence. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and regret that your stay did not reflect the standard we aim to uphold. The woman who checked me in ,Lakshimi, was amazing! We had such lovely and warm conversations. She went above and beyond to make sure that I truly enjoyed my birthday. A truly special stay—I’d definitely return again soon! The breakfast was nice

Arrived on a Sunday for 2 nights. Booked a suite and it was massive ( corner room ) 2 rooms which could be separated by a door, which we did on an evening when sleeping. Fantastic views over the river of the O2 and London City airport. Great links from Custom House DRL ( a few mins walk away ) linking to the Jubilee line. We used the IFS Cable car to get to the O2 for the Kylie concert. No queue and the same type of system as the underground where you tap in and out with your bank card, although you could pay cash at the cash desk. Took about 5 mins in total to get across the river. Again a few mins walk away from the hotel! Bathroom in the suite was a bit strange, separate shower cubicle and toilet with a 2 way mirrored door opening up in to the bedroom area with the sink outside of the doors. You could see in to the bedroom from the shower/ toilet but friends couldn’t see in. So quite awkward if you’re with friends to get showered as you stepped out of the shower straight in to the bedroom area! Not sure if the other rooms available have the same concept for the bathroom. Big size TVS in both rooms. Our living room area, the sofa bed was made up as there were 3 of us in the room. Only had 2 robes / slippers in the wardrobe though. You’d think they would have the right about of robes for the amount of guests staying in the room. Comfy beds and sofa bed was comfy too. Living area was huge, massive , TV, seating, table and chairs, fridge/coffee and tea facilities and coffee machine the only things I would say is a some kind of table next to the sofa bed and a light you can switch on and off when you go to bed. The rooms are blacked out with the curtains, which is good. But had to turn the tv on to give a bit light, then switch the main lights off which were near the room door around the corner. Then use the tv remote to switch the tv off. I actually dragged the small table over to put the tv remote on, my phone on to charge and have my water in there too. If needing the loo in the middle of the night had to use the torch on my phone to find the light switches away from the sofa bed which were around the corner next to the loo. The living room bit could do with a long mirror possibly on the wall to the side of the TV. 3 girls in a room and only having a mirror in the bedroom part and not living part was a bit of a nightmare! All in all the room was great apart from the 2 things above! Hotel breakfast was lovely, could do with black pudding at breakfast though. Staff lovely, hotel throughout is clean and lovely too! No discount on car parking, collect ticket from entrance of the car park under the hotel, go in to car park up to the 1st level where you can get the lift directly to reception. Pay at machine when leaving. It was £25 per night which I suppose for London isnt too bad. Would I stay again, yes!

The hotel room was the best part about the stay. Very clean and great facilities. The reception staff were very friendly and always there to help. The only thing that we were not impressed with was the restaurant, it felt very odd. I could tell the restaurant staff were trying their best but it felt like they were not well informed about how things are done.
