I had a great stay thanks to Frankie and Abbie for being so kind and making me feel at home whilst staying at the hotel! Will definitely stay again and recommend to others if they are nearby! Beautiful hotel in the country side.

The location is great and the entry way / reception, bar and restaurant have clearly been updated to a good standard. The bedrooms are extremely dated: condensation on windows, stains all over lampshades, unpleasant bathroom, creaking floorboards and old mahogany furniture, this is definitely not 4*. The service in the restaurant is appalling, staff are friendly and pleasant but we waited 40 minutes to be served and an additional hour for our starters, there were only 7 other bookings at the restaurant.

Went for meal flies in the window lots of them wasps everywhere service very slow although I think they were short staffed, although Peter the waiter was fantastic he went above and beyond he deserves recognition .. the staff were very friendly couldn’t fault them. The chairs looked like the cat had clawed every one of them. No air con on one of the hottest days so was uncomfortable eating. Needs updating. Food nothing to write home about had better in the local pub

I am very happy to hear that my team were friendly and you could not fault them, and i have passed your comments on to Peter. The chairs in the restaurant were ruined by a new cleaning chemical that we bought, and it has stripped the leather...we are getting new ones to replace them. I am sorry that we do not have air conditioning and i know that it was incredibly hot the last couple of weeks with unprecedented temperatures. I do hope to welcome you back again in the future

Good overal but had to change room to find one with a window that opened but staff were very helpful to resolve. Rooms well appointed breakfast great value again staff very good. Will stay again . Terrific grounds big car park .

The setting, bar, restaurant and communal areas are beautifully furnished. The food is excellent. The rooms are a little tired and lacking air con so the room was too hot.
