I generally like Ibis Hotels - they are very compact and everything is convenient. However, during my stay in Adana, the main issue was cleanliness. When daylight came through the window, it was obvious that the glass was extremely dirty. The room was extremely dusty — it honestly felt like it hadn’t been used for a long time. The corners in the bathroom were also very unclean and had turned black over time. Housekeeping did come, but the only thing that was done was changing the dirty bedsheets (that is nice though). I expected at least a quick vacuum of the floor, especially since there were visible hairs on the ground. I can give a max of 5/10 for cleanliness. The air conditioning was extremely noisy — it was impossible to keep it running while sleeping. On the positive side, the night staff and breakfast staff were friendly and did their jobs wonderfully. They truly reflected great Turkish hospitality.

Located in the city center, very close to shopping and restaurants. There is free parking in the garage. Poor ventilation in the garage and the garage elevator, which makes them very muggy and uncomfortable in the humid and hot Adana weather. The lobby is not at the entrance level, but on the first floor. The lobby is clean and relatively well-maintained. Unfortunately, the lobby restroom was dirty when I used it. Our room was rather small and dusty. The bathroom and shower were not clean, and there were stains all over. The water temperature kept changing while taking a shower, which was rather uncomfortable. The thermostat in the room did not work properly. We had to turn it all the way for the A/C to kick in, and turn it off when the room got cold. Overall, our room and the hotel seemed quite old and in desperate need of a renovation.
