Nice visit in city centre hotel

On arrival we were allocated our room however when we got there room wasn’t cleaned, the girl radioed her supervisor and they both cleaned the room whilst we waited in corridor so not the best start ! Our room overlooked the Main Street so was expecting it to be noisy with the traffic but we didn’t hear any street noise all ! You can get hot drinks and take to your room from the hot drinks machine in reception at any time which we liked. You also had the hospitality tray in your room ! The thing that lets it down though is breakfasts. The hot food warmers consisted of scrambled eggs or beans, there was no bacon/sausage/hash browns etc. on one day out of our 3 nights we stayed they had cheese toasties which my hubby said were lovely. The rest of breakfast was continental style, with cold meats, croissant’s, yoghurts, cereals, fruit etc So we just felt breakfast was rather a let down. Overall though you are very central to city centre but it’s not noisy, staff were great and we had a great nights sleep !

Lovely hotel with a great location Very efficient, friendly and helpful staff The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day Parking was adjacent to the hotel and good value with the discount from the hotel.

Adequate stay, terrible breakfast

Location is excellent, located within one of the most tourist friendly areas of Liverpool with plenty of your doorstep. Rooms were ok, not exactly plush but can provide a comfortable enough stay. Bathroom feels like it's a capsule that's been placed into the room, but just about big enough - though having a shower is enough to wake up anyone who is still sleeping as there's no sound proofing. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. They are keep to upsell the breakfast upon check in and we went for it as it was convenient. But failed to advertise that it was a continental breakfast. Tepid beans and powdered egg were available but that was it. The breakfast area is also tiny so very difficult to get around or to get a seat. Will never do the breakfast there again but would stay there again mainly based on location, but there are plenty of hotels in the vicinity that may give you a more all-round stay.

Compact but pleasant room, good value hotel

We stayed here for two nights, well located in the Cavern Quarter, just a short walk to the main city centre for shopping with plenty of restaurants and bars very close by. We were warmly welcomed and our room was on the 7th floor. Our twin room was quite compact but had pretty much everything needed. I liked that there’s a plug socket by the full length mirror and the shower was decent with good sized towels and body wash/shampoo supplied within. The hairdryer nozzle wouldn’t stay on but fortunately I’d brought my own. I found the bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the pillows were too soft for my personal preference, I woke up with a stiff neck. The bar/reception area is really nice. I did have to look for a member of staff when I was waiting to be served though. Free tea and coffee is available but we didn’t make use of this facility. Guest security is good in that you have to press your room key onto a scanner for the door to open. There is a Tesco express right next door which is really useful. For the price we paid, it’s good value for money and although breakfast cost was an additional £12.99 per person, we ate in town for much less. Parking at the multi story two minutes walk away was only £18 for our two night stay using the hotels voucher, so a very reasonable cost. We would strongly consider staying here again but we’d perhaps go for a different room with more space,

Great stay

Stayed four 3 nights, rooms are nice but a little small, rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast is really nice, great quality and plenty of choice for a continental breakfast. Coffee was lovely and available at any time of the day with takeaway cups as well. Well placed to visit all the centre of Liverpool has to offer. Reduced price parking just 1 minute walk around the corner at the NCP, £9 a day which is vastly cheaper than the standard rate. We will hopefully get to stay here again as there is nothing to fault, including the price to stay there.
