A good place, as per the reviews, a really clean, and good value place, centrally located, and nothing is too hard for the staff. The continental breakfast is more than enough, and the whole place has a really cool vibe, with staff there to look after you. I'd certainly stay again. If you want easy access to London sights, and Borough Market on your doorstep and with the Tube 100 metres away, this is your spot. Thanks to Charlotte for a warm welcome and help during the stay.

Loved our stay at the Ibis. Even tho our duet room was small it was cozy. It was definitely one of the quietest hotel's we have ever stayed in. The staff was so nice and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices. One of the staff ladies helped us a great deal with a bus tour company glitch. Another helped us with transportation to Heathrow. We appreciated all their help! The water refill station is a plus!

The word Ibis makes me shudder at a memory of a bed so hard, it was enough to think you were on a mortuary slab! But Ibis Style was so far away from that memory - thankfully. Beautifully decorated throughout, very theatrically styled. Fantastic rooms, incredibly quiet, I had the best sleep in a hotel I’ve ever had!! Room had a view of the Shard, spotlessly clean, comfy bed & pillows. Warm welcome on arrival, given voucher for 2 free drinks, absolutely excellent breakfast! All in all this is a great hotel that I’d have no hesitation in recommending.

When ever we’ve been in London - we’ve used this gem of a hotel, great position for centre &next to Borough Market etc, the area just gets better & better. The hotel’s design is second to none - the eye is constantly drawn to all corners of this hotel to admire & give a nod to ibis’s style. Rooms astounded me over & over with the layout - being London size is at a premium but you will be astounded by the design & space giving you a feel of a room twice the size & combined with the fact that they are spotlessly clean along with a lovely bed ……. What’s not to like ! Not forgetting the wonderful polite & happy staff & delicious breakfast it’s too good to miss.

A modern, clean, air-conditioned hotel in the heart of the South Bank

We stayed in Ibis' Styles London Southwark for 2 nights before taking a train to Porthsmouth. The nearest tube stop is London bridge and you have to walk for 10-15 minutes before you get to the hotel. (there is a "shorcut" where you can go through the parking lot) Because of its proximity to Borough Market, basically you won't find yourself out of food options. (and you need that because the only restaurant in the complex is the one next door at the Novotel) The hotel is quite new and the décor is like going to a Broadway theatre in the 60s. I think they have put a lot of thoughts in the decoration in the lobby and the bar, so this is quite unique when compared to other hotels I have been. Our twin room itself was not big. We had to find space to open our suitcases to get stuff, but then maybe that is the same for anywhere else in central London. The bathroom was quite spacious in comparison. The shower was powerful and no water was leaked from the cubicle. (common problem with 3* hotels in Europe) Facility-wise, don't expect you will find a lot in a 3* hotel. They provided free popcorn at certain times and some fruits in the lobby which we always missed when we came back. I think breakfast is included for all guests and you get a buffet of continental breakfast, You should find stuff to eat (bread, cold cuts, sweets, donuts, Danish and even fruits) Overall, for the price we paid for a modern, clean, air-conditioned hotel (we had a heat wave then) that is well situated in central London, I am not complaining.
