Quiet stay with family

Overall experience was good. But could have been better. Good: Nice residential Location - right next to a park. Helpful, friendly staff. Better: 1. I suspect online check-in won't save check-in wait time (Please do a "time study" of Check in process). 2. The facility might need a sort of "annual deep checking" to detect things like - Is the shower room door closing properly? Or, Is the auto power-shutoff in the room working (When the access card is removed)? 3. How about caller IDs at reception / Maintenance / In room dining / etc. so that they know who called? I got a room service which I hadn't requested for. 4. How about starting Valet parking? 5. Would have been nice if there were some activities possible for kids - Like TT / foosball / Jenga blocks / Chess / etc. All the more important when the swimming pool is closed.

Grand Mercure : It was a great stay over all. We arrived and reception surprised us with an upgrade the moment we disclosed that we were celebrating special occasion and then cakes with a personal note from Mr lall made it more amazing. I am confident on the Brigade company as their respiration in market is great and hence wanted to try their first hotel at Bangalore during my weekend staycation and I was amazed with their hospitality. Great maintained property , great suites , food restaurants and amazing staffs here. Loud clap to Mohnish who takes care of reception for arranging the entire stay. Mukesh live counter chef was always approachable. Me and my partner had a great stay. Completely justifying the name associated with. Now I am also a part of their membership program and exploring Mysore by brigade hotel next. Highly recommended. :-)

I had a peaceful stay but the only reason I'm rating the stay at 8 is because I'm not at all happy with food. I mean everything that we ordered during our last stay and this time was really sad. For example I ordered Alfredo pasta and salt was very less in it and was taste was just OK to fill the stomach and when i informer the chef about it they fixed the dish and believe me they added so much salt that it was hard for me to eat. But since I was hungry I just ate a little and till now I'm in trauma with that taste. I suggest please look for better chef.

A great 2 night stay and I wish it could have been longer. Nicely maintained hotel and each staff was very welcoming. Not a single complaint. Big thank you to Mohnish for being such an understanding person to our needs. We were invited to become member of their hotel chain which is free of cost with so many benefits. To thank us of becoming a member and to welcome us to their programme we were giving complimentary upgrade to a lovely suite which was almost 3000 extra per night to what we booked - such a lovely gesture and also we were offered spa coupons for their lovely spa and not only this before we could finish our formalities and reached room reception team specially Sita who was so quick to arrange for nice home made chocolates for my partner. And to note these all were for free just because we have become a part of their group - never seen such a warm and welcoming to any hotel’s / company membership programs. You guys have nailed it in terms of hospitality offered to us and I will highly recommend this to all my friends and family coz of confidence earned. I was also guided to download their app which guarantees you the best price comparing to any other booking site online and yes it’s true. I did compared. We do staycation every month in different cities and this will surely help us to save lot of money. Keep up the good work guys. 1st hotel whom we saw they keep guest first and then anything.

Great maintained hotel. Property isn’t a new one but very well maintained. Spacious rooms which doesn’t give you a typic hotel feel but it makes you feel at home. The best and important part is their staff who is so generous and welcoming. Reception upgrading our room to all lovely services everything was so enjoyable. Spa services and other recreational area were at its best. Not to forget to mention Mr. lall who was extremely courteous and can identify any of his guests behind mask as well. He ensures that every guests are heard and attended to. Sita was very welcoming too. One of the best hotel I have stayed with.

Outstanding services were provided by the staff at the Centre, especially by Mr Mohnish Lall, Madhusudan and Abdul. Their warm and professional attitude has been the cornerstone. Moreover, the same attitude and professionalism has been displayed by the reception staff including Ms Sita. The hotel is very hygienic, Sanitizers are placed at all the right areas. The in-house restaurant food was fresh, healthy and delicious. Housekeeping staff are well trained. Chef Makesh cooked a delectable Thai Red Curry dish that is something to have again and again. Overall, loved the experience. With such a wonderful team of Individuals who work as a coherently, I believe Grand Mercure will keep its customers coming back to it.

Stay was very good. Would love to come back again. Reception team ensured for smooth check in and check out. They were also kind enough to upgrade my room and accommodate my last minute requests. This trip was not planned and it was all sudden for me but all boys and girls at reception heard me patiently and took very well care.

We stayed at Grand Mercure for 2 nights. Booked 1 Bedroom Suite. What went well: Staffs including housekeeping were friendly and co-operative. Areas of Improvement or could have been better: Being an Accor group member was expecting a warm welcome but it was not what I expected from my past experiences at other Accor group hotels. Checked in around 11 pm with 10 months old infant but room was not ready. Requested the front desk person for the required stuff or amenities and then he arranged for. Next day morning, I had a chat with Mr. Mohnish about my experiences till then at the hotel. As he promised, from then onwards they tried to make my stay pleasant. First impression is the last impression for many of us but in this case last impression was great so just reducing a star from the overall rating towards areas of improvement. So, it started with the flaw but they took care of each and everything as and when there was a request placed. About the room: Quiet spacious rooms with balcony. It has a kitchen ready to access (I prepared food for my baby). Location: Good. Accessible Dining Area: Good. They did Temperature check at the gate and kept sanitizers keeping pandemic situation in mind. Thought of doing SPA but due to time crunch we were unable to. Overall, great stay.

Good property with super slow staff

Yes it’s correct what my title says. It’s from one of the good properties of All Accor in Bangalore. But the staff is super slow and dumb. Except Ms. Richa at front desk rest of all the staff members are super slow and dumb. They don’t know how to do billing at the restaurant and they don’t know the procedure of billing the All Accor member. Then next morning I found that toiletries kept aren’t proper so asked to bring new toiletries and guess what it took them more than half an hour with 6 reminders. And even after 6 reminders I din get what I asked for. Resulting I skipped my breakfast as I was getting late for airport. My advice is to work on good and on time service rather than saying sorry.

Location is not ideal. Staff is not warm and proactive in making guest comfortable. Basic Toiletries have to be asked for. Terrific is way beyond the hotel standard, services and amenities. Its more of average service apartment then a reasonably good hotel.
