Had to stay for quarentine

The rooms smell damp and the carpet feels dirty. The windows can't open to let in a bit fresh air. The shower has no extraction, so the steam has nowhere to but into the room when you open the bathroom door. The food during quarantine was bland and boring. The mini fridge in my room was not working and nobody cared. The TV channels only cater to French and Spanish-speaking people. To be honest, I wouldn't stay there if I didn't have to.

Floor needs deep cleaning and A/duct drainage need upgrade

definitely not the best option to be in quarantine. Very few TV channel.

I was intended to pay by card as informed the reception prior to my check in. But the machine didn't work on arrival. instead of insisting and making sure that the machine works before attribuating me the room, they sent me to the room. and some times later I insisted to check the machine. then we found that the machine is still not working. Then I asked to leave the hotel and find another one. and it's only at that time that they informed me that I need to pay half day rate. Mr COFFI insisted on that point. Why didn't they inform me on arrival. This is totally intolerable. I will never book another IBIS Hotel in any country again. and additionaly the elevator didn't work. I carried myself my luggage via the upstairs to the lobby even though they offered to carry it. This hotel is dirty, old and doesn't respect international measure regarding covid 19 pandemic.

I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Bata, but I found food too expensive. It would be good if the hotel can lower the prices of food. I have to eat outside most of the time, and I think this is a lost to the Hotel.

Very good service, clean environment. Very well located. Although I didn't use it, but I see a very nice and welcome swimming pool. The restaurant offers a cost effective meals. As a whole it is a good hotel for business staying.
